Hamilton Park 1.50

PAVERS PRIDE (1.50) is strongly fancied to exploit a very favourable handicap mark at Hamilton.

Formerly with Noel Wilson, Pavers Pride made his debut for Paul Midgley at Beverley last Wednesday and was undone by his wide draw, finishing a well-backed runner-up to Burtonwood.

The track should be riding on the soft side of good and that will not inconvenience Pavers Pride, second of 20 runners on soft at Ayr a couple of seasons ago. A visor is fitted for the first time and he should prove too strong for recent Newcastle second Boudica Boy.

Hamilton Park 3.50

SECRETARIAL (3.50) didn’t show much on her comeback at Beverley 13 days ago but this mile handicap represents a drop in class. Tim Easterby’s filly drifted in the betting and will be a sharper for the outing. She beat Hugo Palmer’s Caravan Of Hope on soft in a Carlisle maiden last May.

True Believer, beaten a neck by Time Voyage at Doncaster, heads the market, while Dawaaween’s second to Tangled at Beverley puts her in the mix along with Keith Dalgleish’s recent Pontefract second Iconic Code.

Hamilton Park 2.50

DEVIL’S ANGEL (2.50) will be at fairly cramped odds on the back of his close second to The Golden Cue at Ripon four days ago and Jedd O’Keeffe’s four-year-old can do the business.
