The drift on yesterday's selection was quite alarming, seeing her drift out to 6/1 before the off suggested a bad run was to come, but she ran well but not good enough to win. She ultimately finished 3rd and had no excuses today. I thought she travelled the best throughout the race but looked slightly one-paced afterwards, maybe a different trip will suit her better.
Ascot 3:10
It's quite surprising to see Aidan O'Brien sending over a couple of unraced juveniles to Ascot for Friday, but the ones he does send over have some interesting entries and some lovely pedigrees. Nothing really caught my eye for today's racing so I am going to be taking a chance on one of the O'Brien runners.
The one I've opted for is RED RIDING HOOD who is a Group 1 filly, Ballydoyle, who has produced two horses who have both been lightly raced including Monday who was a Listed winner during her juvenile days and hasn't been seen since. Red Riding Hood is by the very talented American Sire Justify, who was a triple crown winner a couple of years ago and has since produced a very good-looking O'Brien Juvenile called Statuette who has a lot of people excited for the future for that horse.
With a pedigree of this nature, you have to imagine that Red Riding Hood is going to be a Class 1 horse, and most likely a Group 1 horse in the near future. I think it's interesting that they've brought her over to Ascot for her debut run as they clearly think she is mature enough to travel and run well on her first start, but also they must be thinking of big plans as it will give her an insight of what travelling is like and what she should be expecting when they go for some Group races in the UK like the Fillies' Mile at Newmarket later on in the year. I don't think this race is stacked with horses with Group credentials, so if she is fit and ready I imagine she could blow this field apart.
Alseyoob is probably the form angle, but she has to carry a penalty, 3lb is offset from Benoi De La Sayette's claim, but she will still need to be a fairly good filly to beat Red Riding Hood giving away weight.

Not sure about Moore there and sick talking about him tbh for MY bets! With the money and guy shouting from the crowd or wherever on ‘Sky Racing’ I had to stick my £1.75 in my account on Revenite!
Think he be escorted out by now!? 😂
Not much consolation to me or site so apologies but with that draw I think Moore made….

Apologies with Saratoga-R9 as there’s no TRIFECTA at £1 it’s £2 for USD ($s) unless you want to spend £10,44 and I don’t si it would need to be a combo Tricast or at a push and against most it be a R/fc 6-10
