Broughtons Admiral ran a good race last time even though only second when odds on. The horse was beaten by my selection Send Up who did look really good for that race. Send Up should have won by more but there were things to like about Broughtons Admiral, he was six lengths clear of the third horse, he ran well in first-time cheekpieces which are on again here and he has to be the one to beat.

What happnd to broughtons admirral it wa realy well backed?
In my opinion the jockey left him hang out to dry to make sure he didn’t win, then miraculously finished best of all to come 2nd.
Maybe he is being laid out to win next time.
Its sounds like I’m a sour punter, but didn’t back it as I don’t trust these low grade rubbish flat races, this was a class 6 and horses of this stature are not to be trusted.
Just my impression if what u saw
Kev24 it’s hard to say, Broughtons Admiral ran his race and in the end was a comfortable second, if anything the horse took a bit of time to get going and by then the winner had gone, as for the winner whether it was a freak result or whether she can back it up next time we will have to wait and see, the stewards did want to know why there was so much improvement from Seventii but connections couldn’t give a reason but again I don’t think the Nap did too much wrong and probably ran as well as I thought, it’s just one of those things in racing, either a freak result or a very well handicapped filly has beat us
