LITTLE BOY BLUE stands out in the 1.50 at Nottingham as he was only just beat on debut to a more experienced rival in Golden Salute who is now rated 82.
It was an encouraging run as he was outpaced but did run on well and looks a strong pick on Wednesday.
Mizen Master was a little disapointing last time at Kelso but looking deeper into the race the run wasn't too bad. This has always been the plan with the horse as his flat rating is ridiculously low on 55. When you look at his hurdles rating then you can say a high 80s or even 90 flat rating is not impossible for this four-year-old.
Johnb Racing has had some input into going racing on the flat with this horse so we are extremely confident.
Tuesday's selection was disappointing and October is now a 0.5pt profit. Well done to all the winners.

I hit 3 horses alredy and need Amood and Mizen Master for full L31. Cash out is not bad ( 8 bet i am in), but still not sure what to do. Ty DC on yours NAP, almost every day on it, and pick it for my sistems.
That’s a tough one to call. I wish you luck whatever
Cash out only one min before race. 9 more then i am in. And set duble and two singles on amood and mizen. Good call this time. To many on amood and somtimw it is not good signe.
Little boy blue…..the drift!
Hi johnb jist readin ur header n the way I c it the nap n nb r back ti front ur extremely confident wi mizzen master n u hav had an input to it running oan the flat that to me reads inside info n back me all day long I don’t bet a lot of ur selections but this one flags up go go go gud luck n well dun ti aw the winners ktf
No not the wrong way round, Little Boy Blue was the Nap because he looked the best bet of the day, he beat the rest of the field as easy as I thought but just found a newcomer who ran very well,
Mizen Master does have some concerns, I would have chosen a more testing course on turf and a bit shorter distance but should still be better class than these
libby t vallance 2.10 indain chief 4.00 retrieve 4.40 ventura blues 5.05 ew l 15 ew singles also backed storm rock 4.10 win single well done all winners yesterday
Beat by a neck.
Down another promising double tumbles.
The drift was on and others knew something out there would push the Favourites all the way.
Hopefully the Other selection can rescue what is now a dampened single win bet.
325 n Excellent times 13/2
I don’t see why anything needs to be rescued, it either wins or it doesn’t and either way we move on to tomorrow
Yes Mr JB the term ‘rescued’ was used for my own evaluation and betting based on the fact I have now had no less than 5 doubles in the last 3 days all lose or go down to either ‘seconditis’ or last gasp goals!
It happens, we all get them as I’m sure you well know and sometimes we don’t all take things as well as
‘on to tomorrow’. No offence.
I’m on Mizen Master and I’m on Imphal tomorrow (singles).
Cheers
Johnb’s Thursday Tips
Lingfield
2:55
Imphal 3/1 NAP/NB paddy power (double stake)
I had a double on and St. Andrews was what I was waiting for there in the last race
But having come on the thread earlier and read Johnb thought mizen was a strong pick I cashed in and stuck it on mizen
Just before start of race I logged into online acc and stuck a cover bet on my original horse I fancied St. Andrews so I now break even instead of being in profit
Raging with myself for going against my gut
Kirby I’ve noticed doesn’t just pop up for a ride he doesn’t think has a real chance of winning and that was my original thought when I looked at it this morning
Same as John godsend horses I’ve noticed recently anything in the betting up to around 4 or 5-1 uou really need to look at
And de Sousa any last race with him as fav usually comes in
If only we all knew someone inside with real inside knowledge we could all be rich
On to tomorrow I guess
