The weather is really starting to get on my nerves. We've had so many horse not run due to racecards being abandoned from the cold temperatures but yesterday Kempton called it off for fog!
I've seen a lot of jumps meetings in my times, including this season, where the fog on the track has meant the spectator couldn't see anything, and the jockeys have to jump fences in that, so it seems strange for a flat meeting to be called off for that.
As for today's racing, it is without a doubt the worst Saturday for racing I've seen since taking an interest in this sport. Two AW meetings with the vast majority of the races being very low quality. I'd love to add more selections but nothing else really catches the eye, I fancied an unraced 2yo at Lingfield in the second race but guess what… it's a NR.
Lingfield 1:15
I wouldn't class LILKIAN as a course specialist, but he definitely is very good at this track, with his three wins from ten visits. He hasn't won since May of this year but he has dropped down to an appealing handicap mark and should be going close in this if running anywhere near to his best.
It's quite ironic that his win in May at this track was over 5f, he has won over longer distances in the past so the recent runs over 6f isn't a surprise but maybe at this point in his career he is better over 5f, and I think his recent run over 6f would suggest he might be better over the minimum distance as he was disputing for second place but then his efforts didn't pack the same power as those who stayed on stronger, eventually finishing 5th. Luke Morris rode him last time out which was different from the recent norm with Liam Wright normally being jocked up to ride Lilkian, so if you think about the 7lb claim that he was missing, that run over 6f was a good effort. With Liam back in the saddle, he is effectively running off a mark of 63 which is very low for a horse who has won off higher marks than that in the past.
He is drawn in stall 1 which is a positive for a horse that likes to race close to the pace, and at Lingfield, I think sitting close to the front is quite advantageous than trying to make a run from the rear.
Lingfield Park and Chelmsford City all-weather fixtures must pass morning inspections due to freezing temperatures expected overnight.

Aquaduct -R4…Let Her Inspire U 8/11
Be back with a Yankee or something later possibly if it’s worth it.
Meantime only others have are Tiger Town Boy Aquaduct race 1 at 6/5.
Could do a large Trixie or Yankee with them I suppose or doubles and trebles?
Gerard and Red Gun too that run in same race,Gulfstream Race 3 which looks as WIDE open as Nigerian defence.
T3 ..11.09
T3..5 11.06 rev fc yup is there any camel racing anywhere
Sorry that there’s no selections yet again today guys. I’m desperate for racing to restart and get some winners.
But don’t you think it’s quite ironic and daft that the ‘All-Weather’ racing is cancelled due to the weather, maybe the name needs to change.
‘All-Weather apart from when it’s a bit cold racing’
gaillarde queray 11.20 France it’s over to you well done all winners yesterday
Im heading down to my local amusements to take in some top class racing.
For those that remember, there was a game where 8 horses raced in a straight line. You bet 10/20p on your fancy with varying odds. I’m certain red rum was the favourite with pink sash the outsider.
Also remember one called green goddess but the other names escape me.
both greyhound results in
🇺🇸 ** MAYBE WRONG**
But Skybet compared to others still offering
Aquaduct-R3…Let Her Inspire U. EVS ??
As low as4/7 but no banker but close and it’s only in my treble posted above but decent that.
Main fluctuation is in R5…Sherrff Bianco EVS Skybet boost??
It looks crazy and they’re far from the brightest bowl in the ..bowl drawer with USA odds but like Paddy Power they can miss something Bet365 etc rarely do .
Personally i think they should be snapped up in a double at least for £5 of your dollars paying about 2.5/1.
Fluctuation?
Good old predictive text boutI knew how to spell eet anyways dang sarn it!
🇺🇸
Gulfstream – R1…Dr Oseran 11/4 Bet365 ***
Thought meh it’s an open race but to run a speed figure of 81 on debut that’s a good bit above par (IF I’ve learned anything) then the winner of said race isn’t disgraced in a G1 he must be good value!?
Irad Ortiz factor probably in play here with joiny Fav and obviously debut horses could be anything but I’ll take 11/4 Bet365.
GL
Let Her Inspire U disappointed but Dr Oseran wins as he should and R4 won’t spoil it.
Gerard/Red Gun same race I say.
Well as I do and done the R/fc served me lovely!
