THERE'S four meetings on Wednesday and Thommo has a couple of each-way bets from Nottingham and Lingfield.

A COUPLE of each-way bets stand out on an interesting midweek programme with KING OF CHANGE looking a big price at 13-2 in places to land the one-mile novice stakes at Nottingham.
Richard Hannon’s three-year-old was pipped a short head by Mackaar at Wolverhampton in mid-November and Roger Varian’s winner made short work of the John Gosden-trained Damon Runyon at Lingfield last Saturday.
Lingfield 3.25
Richard Hughes has his string in great form and WINTER LIGHT is a cracking ew bet at around 5-1 if all eight runners come under orders at Lingfield.
The filly drew clear for an easy five lengths victory at Chelmsford City at the end of October, backing up a good fourth in a Newmarket nursery after being impeded at the gate.

3rd the last twice both at this track, one CD and the other a furlong extra. runs off same mark tonight but has young Fallon on board taking off 7lbs, was 1 length 3rd to a horse who won the time before and went on to win next time out up 9lbs, the 2nd didnt do much next time but was once a 70 rated winner over CD back in 2017. the three horses behind him that done had all improved next time out or already won. looks the one to beat, his last jockey is at the track tonight but the claimer is opted for, so the trainer must be wanting the win.
in the last race, sir ottomon faces secret potion, they met lto and SO is up 2lbs for a marginal win, with subsequent winner kraka splitting them. SO broke well and dictated from the front and had first kick, he is 9/4 whilst POTION is 11/2, Probert steps off him which is not a good sign, and an Irish jockey who doesnt win many is on, however his last win was on this horse.. another rival MOUNT WELLINTON lost very narrowly to Kraka already, but this time has promsing claimer D Hogan taking off 5, on this form line he has the beating of both horses although who’s to say what Sir Ottoman is capable of now 30lbs below the rating he started out racing on in class 2 events… MW he will be running off 62 having once won in Dec 17 off 85 he drops down to class 6 and would be my value selection at 6/1, similar can be said of Pastfact but hasnt been seen since September but does have Keniry on board.
