Arthur's Quay was a welcomed winner on Sunday, winning at odds of 9/4 and doing it in good style. He might be able to land a couple of more wins before the handicapper catches up to him.

As for Darebin, he's either completely gone at the game or they weren't trying yesterday. At first, I thought the latter, but the more I think about it, it's probably the former. He's had a long career and his enthusiasm doesn't look to be there anymore, as he was pushed along after 50 yards of the race starting.

Hereford 3:00

I think this race will be between Bill Baxter and HONNEUR D'AJONC. Though I believe Warren Greatrex's horse has a good chance, I feel like the odds of Honneur and the fact he was beaten by a well-handicapped horse last time have swayed me into believing he is the one to be on today.

Firstly, touching on Bill Baxer, he has always had a decent reputation as a horse who has ability. For one reason or another, it didn't quite work out over hurdles, but now he's a chaser he is starting to get into a rhythm and it's shown with back-to-back wins. He will enjoy the ground and stay this far, but the recent 8lb hike in the weights might be enough to halt his progress for now.

David Noonan took some belters on social media when finishing as runner-up on Honneur D'Ajonc at Leicester behind Our Jet (winning tip). Many believed he should've asked questions sooner of his mount rather than being confident and not fully going for it. Personally, I thought Harry Skelton gave the winner a belting ride and the runner-up did nothing wrong in defeat. The handicapper decided to put the selection up by 4lbs, which isn't ideal but as I mentioned before, I think the winner was on a good handicap mark and they pulled 12L clear of the third who had previously won a race at Cheltenham not too long ago.

The ground is more questionable for Honneur, but he has won on heavy ground before. This trip is also a question which needs answering but based on the final furlong at Leicester, it looks like he will get this trip. Leicester is a course with a very long final straight and if you don't have the stamina you will be caught out, so the way he stayed on strongly gives me the confidence needed for the trip on today's ground.

Ceiling Crusher smashed into and Lane Way on heavy drift to 15/8?
Got best odds guaranteed but still the drift in price is strange . it’s usually a worry especially with now new favourite having Flavian Prat on board a bit less exposed etc but workouts and Lane Way last run was him just pipped in a G2 last run it be some bit of improvement from Motorius!!

      Shall see!

One to watch today the group performer flat fans will know princess Zoe 1-57 punchestown.
Been running in France winning the group 1 prix du cadran in 2020 and won the group 3 sagaro stakes at Ascot in 2022.
4 times in 2022 she was chasing the arse of the impressive kyprios so shows what company she has been keeping.
Too short to back today at 4-5 as she debuts over jumps age 8.
If she jumps and wins she is entered in the Albert Bartlett and will be an interesting contender in that race.

Nice Trixie and then it was cheers to Rizzle!
Pity I didn’t put them altogether?

Not bad last night with some nice singles and returns on the multiples but out of all the winners only 3/5 in the Canadian and Nap was ridden like a twat by a twat in my humble great opinion.

Keep the stakes down after good day in UK and as expected a great weekends followed by pretty poor racing in the USA so a small Canadian and a single and a double.

    Philadelphia-R9…Eleoquist. 11/8. Wee double with
    Pottifany in R2 pays near 4/1 Bet365 Nap/***
    Mahoning-R7…Hip Hip Hoooray. 11/8
    Turf Paradise-R4…Keeponrockinme 3/1 Nb/**
    R5…Sweet Sevant 6/4
    R7…Chasing Fame. 7/2.

GL and well done again to winners!
