Hamilton 6.40

MAHRAJAAN can land the historic Lanark Silver Bell for Newmarket trainer William Haggas at Hamilton. The three-year-old has hoovered up two novice stakes, at Leicester and Ripon, and is pitched into his first handicap on a very fair mark of 85.

Keith Dalgleish attempts to keep the prize on home soil, fielding admirably consistent Platinumcard and Euro Implosion.

Hamilton Park director Mark Johnston is also doubly represented, by Big Kitten and Love Is Golden.

Hamilton 5.40

PADDYPLEX will attract plenty of bets in the one-mile handicap on the back of his wide-margin thrashing of Wots The Wifi Code over course and distance ten days ago. That was an apprentices’ race, so Paddyplex escapes a penalty, and is due to go up a hefty 9lb in future.

Iain Jardine’s Havana Go had Paddyplex more than a length behind when running third to Temper Trap over a furlong longer here at the end of July but is now 5lb worse off on the back of a subsequent Ayr success.

Hamilton 7.10

MILLIE THE MINX was last seen scoring over hurdles at Cartmel and should go well in the 1m 4f handicap.

She has twice finished runner-up here this summer and wins a narrow vote over Three Castles, a fine third over 2m 2f at Musselburgh on Wednesday.

Ffos Las 4.40

RETROSPECT has discovered a bit of consistency and is worth a bet in this ordinary 1m 6f handicap. The top weight finished fourth in a blanket finish over 2m 1f at Pontefract 12 days ago, having finished runner-up over two miles at Chepstow the previous month.

The son of Frankel will need every bit of this shorter trip but should still have too much speed for Ocean Reach.

The mare was a long-standing maiden until getting up close home to deprive Polar Ice over 12 furlongs here 15 days ago and the winner has since scraped home at Lingfield.

Goodwood 5.53

JUST HUBERT pipped Call My Bluff at Ascot 20 days ago but is still able to race off a 2lb lower mark than when chasing home in-form Stag Horn over course and distance last September. He can defy 10-stone under Nicola Currie.

With reference to your dig at me on Tuesdays thread below.

#elvis where did these prices come from the horse was 28/1 SP yet you say 100/1 and 33/1 for an extra place ??.
NO Point putting prices up that are not generally available to everyone .And that is 4 losing bets on one horse
    dosent add up to me#
    ————————————–
those prices I posted on that horse at hexham where with bet365, that’s where ew extra lives.
I don’t comment on your bets winners or losers so I don’t expect any in return.
You have made a few veiled snide comments recently which one poster (bigflu) I think he was called) got quite upset about and the others I got the drift of but didn’t comment on because I don’t generally get involved with others posts unless I’m directly asked to comment.

That donk was my pick, my loser, no one else’s.
No one should feel accountable for any picks they put up, they are personal picks being shared on an open forum.

I posted it about 45 minutes before the off, that was your chance to call me a liar, which you basically did, not 2 hours or so after the race had finished.

I guess I’ve fallen into your trap of looking for a response, and the fact I have responded means I’ve been hooked 🙈

I get the feeling you are more upset about not being lauded for your 9-1 winner, I guess if anyone followed it I would hope they would post their thanks.

Sorry for banging on but that sort of thing does my badly head in 🏇
