Thankfully, Cork's racing went ahead on Sunday and that managed me to get a winner with Impervious. She's a good mare on her day and she stayed on stronger than Dinoblue to land the win. Her jumping wasn't as good as on her chase debut but that was to be expected against better opposition, but she looks a nice horse for the future.

Class 6 all weather racing isn't my strong point in the world of racing, but I'll be having a go with GIORGIO VASARI at Lingfield.
Most of you probably don't know this, but he was once trained by Aidan O'Brien in his 2yo season and at the start of his 3yo campaign. He wasn't a superstar for Aidan by any means, but he showed enough ability to suggest he had the characteristics to have a career as a racehorse. It might seem unrealistic but he was actually rated 97 when trained in Ireland, he has been swapped around a few yards since then and is now rated 52, but is arriving to Lingfield on the back of a recent win where he won quite nicely.
He shoulders a 5lb penalty for his recent win, but that looks realistic to carry on the back of that win. He looked impressive at Wolverhampton and in the same type of handicap class (0-52) he should be far too strong for this field. If you're concerned about the stable form, I wouldn't look too much into it. Ivan Furtado's yard is running to a 69% RTF which is a fair enough number where his horses are running well in defeat and aren't getting slammed when they do get beat. Giorgio Vasari has beenhis

He’s a turn up press play and go horse and and has won some nice Stakes races and a G3 and certainly won’t go down as a superstar but in context of racing he certainly is!?
