The short-priced favourite didn't win yesterday, which is annoying as I think she was still keen and didn't handle the track as she couldn't run in a straight line. The Karl Burke runner I mentioned was supported very well late on, and I said if the money arrives expect a big run, and they landed the small gamble.
I don't want to moan about the quality of racing and the planning of racing, but what are the BHA doing? How can you have three jumps meetings on a Tuesday during the middle of the flat season and have no flat racing on in that day? I find that remarkable, surely you have one jumps meeting per day if you're going to have them, three is overkill and doesn't help the jump jockeys who will be missing out on rides due to being restricted to one track. I am a jumps man, that's where my love for racing is, but there's a time and a place.

I've put up FLYING VERSE in the past, I think he's won once for me in the two times I've tipped him up. I think he has a clear chance of getting back into the winners' enclosure again today with Brian Hughes on board and running off 10st 3lbs, which is a clear bottom weight.
He seemed to have returned to form last time out at Stratford at the back end of July where he finished runner-up to Cardboard Gangster who arrived in good form, having won the time before last, so was beaten by a horse in good form. He carried 12st that time and was only beaten by 0.5L, so I rate that as a very good effort, and the Racing Post shares the same opinion as me, rating that run 110 on their RPR, when he ran off a mark of 98. That was his first run since having a wind-op. He has been given close to four weeks off the track by David Dennis, and I think that could be wise as it allows the horse to get more used to his wind now it's been altered. For some strange reason, horses can improve for their wind-op a couple of runs after it has been completed, as it can take a while for the horse to get used to it.
Brian Hughes is a good booking on this horse, as he has won two times on him previously, and at Bangor where Brian is the best jockey. His strike rate at this track is 24% from 184 runners in the last five years, which is very impressive. Flying Verse and Brian Hughes partnered up to win this exact race 12 months ago, so it's not a coincidence seeing them go for the back to back.

Rizzle It was mentioned last night that there is 3 days like today through the flat season to give the flat jockeys a rest and guaranteed day off zero racing in advance.
Handy if they have a wedding or something to fit it 🤣🤣
I have to ask . How did “rizell” get a headline act . He is garbage . Short prices , tailed off. Gets the odd winner but a child would get that by the law of averages.
Don’t normally have a go at any tipster especially when it’s free and no one has to take the tips . I don’t but this guy is poor . Years ago at top judges as the horse racing “headliner”
Years ago had top judges that should read
Rizzel is ok. As you say can’t moan when they’re free. John b was a class act years back, miss the man’s tips
