i’ve bet 2 quids, i’ve bet 200 quids, shout them home just the same, i dont judge or laugh at micro stakes… i think my point was you might as well do a place acca or a big ew if you’re betting small, 2 on a 7/4 is pointless, but to each their own, if you can nick 20£ a week off the bookies it’s 1000 a year, which is a months bills or a holiday etc so not to be sniffed at, 0.25ew could mean 2.50 ew or 5 ew, i said they were punts, i say to operate with a 100pt bankroll, if you have a grand, a pt is 10, if u have 100, 1£ is a point and obv 25p ew is pointless but then follow someone else, or get a bigger bank roll because throughout the course of a staked year, losing is IMPOSSIBLE. SURE it can win, but with so much racing, is his chance big enough to risk parting with cash? and the answer to that is a certified NO, he’s never come 2nd let alone won a race. glimmer of hope is his new yard and the fact he’s now 23 below his opening mark, but is there any value at 10/3? 4 places paid with only 11 runners may as well chance smth ew at a bigger price or… find something more solid in the other 40 races, or wait till 2moro. depends what you’re goal is, to win money? then wait, next week there will be at least 50 better opportunities… no harm chucking a 5 on it but the risk vs reward doesn’t add up for me.
0-11 and dropped into the lowest grade, favourite is 4-1 which tells me this is full of unreliable types and nothing sticks out.
