DRAGONS VOICE (3.40) will wallow in the soft ground at Windsor and is a knocking each-way at big odds.
David Menusieur's gelding scored over course and distance in June (soft) and has been running consistently well this summer.
SECRET RETURN (4.10) rarely runs a bad race at Windsor and she beat an in-form rival in Tukhoom at Bath in August. The runner-up has won twice since and Secret Return posted a course and distance victory last October.
LOFTY (4.40) has been placed on all four starts and Yorkshire trainer David Barron, still flush from last Saturday's big Ascot handicap gamble Kynren, can take this more modest prize back north.
SOVEREIGN STATE (5.10) is well worth a punt in the 6f handicap confined to novice amateur riders. Jockeyship will play a huge part and Sovereign State's partner Eireann Cagney looked very tidy when steering King's Pavilion to success at Ascot last week. He rode winners at Catterick and Thirsk on consecutive days in August and Sovereign State scrambled home on soft ground at Chepstow, so will go in the ground. Andrew Balding's filly Stay Forever should play a prominent role.
