TRICKY DICKY (8.35) handled heavy ground at Haydock last Friday when a close third to John Kirkup in quite a competitive sprint handicap and Roger Fell's decision to turn him out quickly can be rewarded at Pontefract this evening.
England is about the be battered by some severe weather according to the Met Office so be prepared for some upsets. BLUE LAUREATE (7.35) is bred to go on soft and his second to Sextant at Ascot was a good effort. His subsequent run at Goodwood can be safely ignored as he didn't stay 1m 6f on that occasion. He won his maiden by a wide margin at Doncaster (good to soft) in September 2017 and is well worth an each-way investment in the 1m 4f handicap.
545w UNCLE JERRY 2/1 top 3, 10/1 ew
The expected rain is probably not ideal given we have almost exclusively raced on the AW, however this will be his third turf start in a row having finished a 2 length 4th of 7 last week over C&D. The horse does not win often, but doesn’t lose by much and since the apprentice takes off 7lbs for the first time and he drops in grade, I will be chancing him. Regular jockey SW Kelly is at the track but not on board, which for me is a positive despite the inexperience of his replacement.
comforting seeing Jerry plunge into 5/1 but the ground looked really bad and thankfully he managed to get in the places.
when you realise 5 even money bets can return £320, it is silly not to try it. spaced appropriately throughout the week, they are easy enough to find and it is what i will be trying to do from now on, maximum of 3 tries a week to ensure max outlay is only £30. wont be counting this bet don’t worry.
Interesting you are giving advice when you yourself are a habitual loser .

Thanks for the correction of the race time Database, in the end, she didn’t need the hour’s headstart.
8.35 Ponte Cosmic Chatter 33/1 ew 4 places pp.
Comes with a health warning but worth a crack at the odds.
Has won twice and placed twice from 8 starts at the track. Down to lowest ever h’cap mark and won’t mind if there’s a few showers to put a bit of juice into the ground as both wins were on soft.
BOL
solid enough for me, especially seeing it’s Carr and Sullivan who can be pretty deadly also, 25/1 for 4 places on 365 now who also offer 20/1 for 5 places and 12s for 7. BOL i’ma have a nibble

L Roche usually rides for MO’C in these silks and theyve already had a fair few winners.. yet he is on the drifting fav so that is a bit strange.. think i’ll chance it regardless. 🤞
