Saturday didn't go to plan for me yesterday with both selections losing, but it wasn't as bad as last Saturday when it was a total bloodbath. Kissesforkatie ran well on chase debut, made no mistakes and was just beaten by the better horse, which I can accept. Tyrrhenian Sea was also beaten fair and square at Ascot and looks in the grips of the handicapper based on that performance.
In other news which everyone will know that follows horse racing, Baaeed was convincingly beaten on his final start as a racehorse. It's a shame to see such a modern great lose in his final race, and if anyone is blaming the ride then you need to pack it in as Jim did nothing wrong. He rode him like the best horse in the race which he is/was and he simply didn't pick up like he usually does. Anyway, he'll be a great Sire and I look forward to seeing his offspring make their appearance in a couple of years time.

Not great odds available, and one I can understand for people not wanting to get involved at the odds as he is a juvenile debutante hurdler against an unexposed field, but I feel like if SCRIPTWRITER can jump hurdles, he should be far too good for this field.
Milton Harris mentioned last year in an interview that he doesn't get many high-profile horses and that the budget he has available to buy horses isn't very big, but for one of his owners to fork out 62,000 GNS on this son of Churchill is a step in the right direction. He is a well-bred flat horse who now takes the transition to hurdles, and if he takes well to hurdling, he could be some force and connections could have some real fun with him, especially this year.
He was bought from the Aidan O'Brien stable, currently rated 102 on the flat after finishing 5th/10 in a Group 3 at Newmarket last year and then 5th/9 in the Derby Trial at Leopardstown earlier this year. He was keeping on over 1m 2f on the flat on his most recent start in April, which is a good indicator that today's trip will be right up his street. Being by Churchill isn't a negative for me at this trip, as he has already had a winner for the Rebecca Menzies yard this season when winning on hurdling debut, which goes to show they might have an aptitude for this type of racing.
Milton Harris is 7/15 at this track in the last 15 years, producing a profit of +34.88 to £1 level stakes, operating at a 47% SR. Paddy Brennan takes the trip up to Sedgefield for the ride on this horse, with this being his sole ride of the day which is of major significance to me. Milton Harris also won this race 12 months ago, so seems like a target race.

Running off bottom weight, I think HAJEY could be extremely tough to beat in this. I went against him last time out when tipping up Cash Again who finished 3rd, and Hajey finished runner-up. I thought Hajey would've been of major interest if he had a run under his belt as I questioned his fitness, but he put me in my place when running a scorcher that day and I instantly thought about backing him next time out.
He was beaten by an Irish raider who improved when travelling to England and improving for the application of money if you know what I mean. That horse was clearly held back and clearly well handicapped, so for Hajey to push him all the way to the line and give him a proper race on seasonal reappearance was a very big run. If he's come on for that run, then I'd be very confident that he wins this and it's a matter of how far rather than if he wins.
This race is tougher on paper and the others have to be respected, but I believe in the form of last race and odds of 3/1 are more than generous in my opinion, so I'll be backing him.
Nothing else really catches my eye so I'll be having a bet on a treble which isn't something I'd normally go for, but the chances of it winning is there for all to see:
Kempton
2:50 – Teddy Blue 4/6
4:00 – Sceau Royal 1/2
4:35 – Jemima P 1/3
odds: 2.33/1 which is nothing great, but if accumulators is something you're into then join in.
All short odds, generally resulting in it losing as it seems far too good to be true, but if they all run to form it should win.

1-33 zellie 11-8 bet365.
3-25 addeybb 5-2.
Haggas sends this over, could be the 8 year Olds swansong if things don’t go well.
Maybe the trainer sees this as winnable otherwise why bother ??!
Has to be the heavy ground and obviously the decent prize money Elvis addeybb of last year would have been a 1/3 shot but hes definitely not the same horse this year.
As you say could be his swansong if he doesn’t bring nearer his A game Monty will turn him over.
GL
Addeybb got it done nice debs.
Wonder if they come back as a 9 year old as he still runs to a decent level
Yeh Elvis I didnt actually notice it was 11f that definitely helped and caught out the French 1 it didn’t stay that last 200 yards Addeybb wouldn’t have won at 10f so great placing by Haggas and hes announced that’s him retired mate 👍
Cracking day yesterday with 3 good priced winners. But as we all know the ups and downs of horseracing todays a different day.

Must have a good chance off 10-3 over this extended trip.
3rd, money back and back to work in the morning that’s if us postie’s aren’t on strike again 😆
The drift on Teddy Blue was strange. He was Keen for over a mile and loses in the final 50 yards. Risk you take in multiples 🤷♂️
