It was a good Saturday with two wins and a placed horse as well, securing a good amount of profit. Molly Ollys Wishes are tough as teak as she managed to win the race she won 12 months ago. When running against her own sex she is a seriously good horse and her stamina/determination pulled through today.

MILLERS BANK is quite a risky horse to have your money on, but if he's on a going day and has anywhere near a clear round of jumping then surely he will be tough to beat in this.
He was a Grade 1 winner at Aintree at the back end of last season, springing a surprise to win that day, but he was knocking on the door over some good races prior to that and was behind some classy horses so you could say it was justified that he eventually landed a nice prize. He went back to the same venue for his seasonal reappearance where he unseated his rider on the first fence, which was a shame as we didn't get to see what level of fitness he had for that run and to see what kind of form he was in, but he did run a circuit after that fall and taking the positive out of it, it would've helped with his fitness. Also, similar to boxers when they have training camps, he would've been relatively fit for the Aintree race, so even though he didn't get far his fitness will now be even better with that ‘camp' under his belt.
This is a good race, there's no denying that, but we have some chase debutantes who will have to run to a fairly high level if they want to beat the like of Millers Bank & Minella Drama, who was a useful novice chaser last year. I fully respect Bear Ghylls and Beauport, who were both very good over hurdles and have to be respected over fences. The former has always seemed like a chasing type, but the 592 days away from the track has to be a concern if you're a supporter of his. Corach Rambler is one of my favourite horses in training, being a winning selection at the Cheltenham Festival, but surely this trip is on the sharp side, and I'm sure they'll have some races in the future lined up for him, so I envisage this being a pipe-opener for him.
Try not to jinx yourself today elvis that’s twice now but hopefully you had elvis mail sureley to make amends . Old red eye had a good day fair play try not to spend it all on whiskey and whores this time the kids need food and clothing haha .
I just accept I lose on Saturdays, it’s a kind of self harm, I love the pain ☔

Navajo Pass – Carlisle 3.05 – 2/1
I was going to have a day off the punting game today but I simply could get away from the chances of Navajo Pass.
This is a horse that now looks incredibly well handicapped off a mark of 128 having won last year off 149 against Buveur D’Air.
Donald McCain was recently talking about the disappointing season the horse had resulting in the drop of his mark. He put it down to an injury which took the horse a while to overcome. He now says the horse is back to where he should be after a nice recovery spell/training as evidenced by his winning performance 2 weeks ago on the flat, which resulted in his highest ever flat RPR rating!
With that performance in mind, his current mark, positive sounds from the stable and track/ground conditions to suit, I’ve had a decent sized bet on him being back to his best over timber today and winning this well.
Good luck all 👍
2 winners again yesterday been a cracking few weeks .Just hope it lasts.
