ALAN called the final two races at Ayr spot on yesterday with 11-4 Glittering Love and 3-1 Ebony Jewel.
He is banking on local knowledge again today with a bet for all seven races at Musselburgh, including his nap Kelpies Myth.
Musselburgh 2.0
NATIVE FIGHTER is an interesting recruit to hurdling, having joined Jedd O’Keefe from Epsom trainer Simon Dow. The five-year-old has had a couple of runs on the level for O’Keefe and should be in the mix on past turf ratings.
Musselburgh 2.30
WISHFULL DREAMING has been in good form for Sam Drake, scoring at Doncaster before recording a decent third at Leicester last time. This drop in trip shouldn’t present a problem.
Musselburgh 3.05
KNOCKGRAFFON, a dual course and distance winner, is Aidan Coleman’s only mount and Olly Murphy’s top weight had almost 15 lengths in hand of Mixboy when they clashed here on New Year’s Day. Mixboy has since run very well behind in-form Movie Legend at Doncaster and will serve it up to the selection. Lucinda Russell’s Elmono is developing into a Musselburgh specialist but this represents a slight rise in class.
Musselburgh 3.35
LIVA won’t find it easy as a four-year-old tackling seasoned, older handicappers in the 2m 3f hurdle but Donald McCain’s gelding ran into a very smart juvenile in Hannon when runner-up here on New Year’s Day. The winner was subsequently pipped in a Grade 2 novice hurdle at Naas last month and holds an entry in the JCB Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham. Daryl Jacob comes north for this one ride and although this longer trip is a concern, Diva should go well.
Musselburgh 4.10
FLYING JACK was 8lb out of the handicap when finished a not disgraced third at Sedgefield last month and will find this company less taxing in the 2m 7f chase.
Musselburgh 4.40
KELPIES MYTH was well supported in the betting ring here 11 days ago and had the misfortune to run into a rejuvenated Manamite. Kelpies Myth looked the likely winner early in the straight but had no answer when Manamite swept past at the final flight, the winner breaking the course record in the process. Kelpies Myth races off the same mark and will take some stopping.
Musselburgh 5.10
DIZOARD sauntered home by 12 lengths over 2m 6f here in November and although racing over a shorter trip off a 12lb higher mark, she should go close in the finale. Iain Jardine gave her a spin on the flat at Newcastle in early January (fifth) and this is a weak contest.

J. P. McManus Birthday today (68 Years old)
Got to be a decent Green & Gold Multiple bet lined up out there today. He has runners at Naas & Warwick and has five entered in the Naas Supporters Handicap Hurdle at 4:20.
His two in the bumpers (Gypsy Island & Chantry House) look a couple of bankers.
Good Luck & Happy Birthday J.P.
