The risk of giving Stumptown another chance was a smart decision.
Gavin Cromwell's staying star managed to win the Czech Republic Grand National in strong staying fashion, which is something we have become used to.
He made a couple of iffy mistakes around the tricky track, but his stamina showed inside the final furlong or so, landing a very nice prize for the Irish raider.
Day Of Grace proved that she is also a horse to keep track of. She won easily at Goodwood and will likely aim for Class 1 honours at some stage.
Fine Art Dealer 11/4 (1pt) – Musselburgh 2.22
I don't think it's too worrying that none of William Haggas' stable jockeys (Fallon & Marquand) have made the trip up to Musselburgh for the ride on Fine Art Dealer. Both are occupied at southern-based tracks for Haggas, so it makes sense to stay local.
However, that doesn't put me off from backing Fine Art Dealer, who makes the long trip up to Scotland from Haggas' Newmarket base.
William Haggas has a 37% strike rate at this track with juvenile runners, which is a ridiculously strong percentage. That shows his intent when travelling this far, that they are not just making up the numbers.
The form of this horse isn't terrible despite not winning on his first two runs. The most recent run was his best effort, which has seen the first and second horse win again since.
The Karl Burke runner has to be respected, as we know how good his form has been with this age group this year.
Alice Hayne's runner would have to be respected as well if her stable jockey, Keiran O'Neill, made the trip up to Musselburgh, but he has opted for a ride at Yarmouth for the same stable.

I'm hoping that William Haggas has a good day, as my second selection on the thread, but runs first is York Tower.
York Tower is an unraced two-year-old son of Call To Mind. Backing unraced horses brings a big risk to the table, as they are inexperienced and a lot can go wrong, but Haggas is very good at this track.
The yard is 30% with their juvenile runners at this track in recent years, and they've unleashed some smart horses at Yarmouth.
I thought it was of note that Marquand has opted to ride two of the Haggas runners at Yarmouth over more rides at Kempton.
The other runner at Yarmouth from William's stable doesn't look above average, which made me think that Tom was coming solely for the ride on this horse. If that's the case, he could be an above-average sort.
