If you do an Each Way double does that mean you can have 1 winner and 1 come in 2nd place and still get a return?
As long as they are both placed , 1st, 2nd, 3rd, you will get a return.

I can’t just pick things for the sake of it, nothing stands out for me, so races i will be leaving alone, but enjoy your day, you can look around the parade ring etc….. and get a better idea then me from being there :) Have a fun day and pick what you fancy, that’s part of the fun from going to the races. I have no angle in on any of the other races then what i have selected already.
Milesey
Haha, no ??.
Have i rattled your cage dear chap ??
hahaha, don’t be silly……….. it’s a fun day out, so enjoy yourself, i don’t go through every card at a meeting picking horses unless i go and then it’s for abit of fun, i know i can’t hit 6 out of 6 races at a meeting, but when i go it’s just abit of fun to have a punt and to watch the race unfold. Enjoy your day!

HAYDOCK PLACEPOT
—————————–
14:10- A really tricky opening to proceedings and we will need to go in mob-handed. Albaqaa is extremely well treated based on the best of his form and he produced a good effort to finish runner-up at Newmarket last week, indicating that he is in good heart. The step back up to a mile looks bound to suit and he should make a bold bid. Prime Exhibit is another horse that looks well treated based on his old form and he comes into this contest on the back of a victory at Leicester. His trainer has his string in fine form at the moment and Prime Exhibit should run well under a penalty. Restaurateur is relatively lightly raced compared to most of his rivals and he ran a fine race on his return at Sandown, making good headway from the rear to finish third. He also needs to be considered, while Cono Zur is of obvious interest off a mark of 69, the same mark which he defied to take this contest last year.
14:40- Things don’t get much easier as we are presented with a tricky six-runner affair following Rundell’s defection. Van Percy finished behind Red Runaway last time but the return to a more conventional track and the prospect of a faster pace could see Andrew Balding’s contender in a better light, and we will include him in the Placepot. The Marcus Tregoning-trained Flasheart made little impression on either start as a two-year-old – though it is perhaps significant he made his debut in a race his trainer tends to target – but he made a winning return to action at Chepstow, keeping on well under pressure, and he could be open to further improvement on his handicap debut.
15:15- Code of Honor quickly made up into a useful juvenile, winning on his final two outings of the campaign, and he ought to have come on plenty for his reappearance effort on the polytrack at Kempton. As a two-year-old, Code of Honor showed a tenacious attitude, responding generously for pressure to prevail on his nursery debut at Doncaster, and he can make a bold bid from the inside stall. Red Avenger was progressive as a juvenile and he showed that something was clearly amiss on his reappearance when bouncing back to form at Newmarket, finishing runner-up to the impressive Glean. He has a largely positive profile – the noticeable exception being the blip on his return at Sandown – and there is little reason to suspect he won’t give a good account.
15:50- Sole Power has been remarkably consistent for a top-level sprinter and he will surely go close to retaining the Temple Stakes crown he lost to the now-retired Bated Breath last year. An out-and-out speedster, the key to Sole Power appears to be decent ground, an easy five furlongs and a lightning-fast gallop to chase. Everything looks set up perfectly for Sole Power today and he should be on the premises.
16:20- A competitive sprint handicap, but Polar Venture – exclusively raced on polytrack to date – boasts some strong all-weather form and he can go close on his turf debut. He did well to win on his penultimate start, making up ground from an unfavourable position, and he was perhaps unfortunate to bump into a well-handicapped and gambled-on rival on his latest start. Polar Venture is unexposed, open to improvement and has to be included.
16:55- Mississippi hasn’t been with David Barron for very long – a man renowned for his handling of sprinters – and there was plenty to like about his effort at Doncaster last time, where he travelled strongly, quickened and kept on well, but simply came up against another upwardly-mobile sprinter from a top yard. Compensation awaits for Mississippi, though not today as he is a non-runner. Waking Warrior produced his best effort for a while when second at Ascot, while Beckermet is an admirable veteran who shaped better than the bare result at Thirsk last time. Those two can hopefully secure the Placepot for us.

Well done all week milesy been keeping an eye on your selections after I missed out on Mondays lucky 15 couple of big ones yesterday you landed going to do your lucky 15 today lets hope your up to your old tricks again
whats the NAP today Milesey
There is no denying that Sole Power had his ideal conditions, i.e a well-run five furlongs on quick ground, when winning the Palace House Stakes earlier this month but things look to be in his favour once more in the Group 2 Temple Stakes with Tangerine Trees and Masamah, both pace horses, drawn around him. Sole Power’s performance at Newmarket was right up with the best that he has achieved but, visually at least, it is possible to suggest that he looked better than ever as he tanked through the race before putting matters to bed with a devastating burst of acceleration. Swiss Spirit still boasts plenty of potential and could be the one for the forecast, but Sole Power is expected to take the spoils.
Back Sole Power @ 2.8 in the 15:50 NAP

I’ve done Mileseys Lucky15- lets hope the week finishes as well as it starts and I tried an each way double on Fritz and Vancouver. CL final is a tricky one to predict- T think Bayern Munich will win maybe after extra time. I’ll take 1-1 as my correct score and 2-2 as my bonkers bet.
Just a word on the Bellew/Chilemba fight tonight. Bellew currently 4/7, Chilemba 11/8, i missed the boat big time in the last fight, had Chilemba up on my cards and went to back the draw at 33’s at the end ! Bottle went and so did the cash, Chilemba won the first fight for me and is a tricky fighter, Bellew didn’t look great so 11/8 is a good price.
Just put an E/W double on Red Avenger and Judge N Jury, any thoughts Milesey?
