HAVE looked through all the cards for Friday and there are is some poor racing, no angle at all to find a winner and nothing sticking out at a big price.
I'll look again in the morning as the market moves a bit but it seems sub standard apart from Goodwood and a couple at Haydock and Yarmouth.

Goodwood’s 14:35 is a competitive handicap staged over seven furlongs, featuring plenty of horses with interesting profiles. A list of such contenders would comprise the likes of Accession, who is well handicapped on old form and is re-fitted with headgear, and Flexible Flyer, who will be suited by the return to this trip, but we are willing to take a chance on Magic City. The four-year-old, trained by Richard Hannon, has been lightly raced since making a highly impressive winning debut at Newbury as a juvenile but he caught the eye on his seasonal return at Leicester last month, travelling better than most and not being given a hard time once it became clear that he had little chance from his position. The suspicion is that he will come good soon and, at his current price of 14.0, he is well worth sticking with here.
Back Magic City @ 14.0 in the 14:35 at Goodwood

Mishhar in the 21:05 at Catterick.
This filly finished fourth to Handheld in a handicap at Nottingham earlier this month. She missed the break, but ran on strongly in the closing stages and was not beaten all that far.
She appears to be running in to form, and could run well at a big price in this maiden.
At present she is trading at 26.0 on the exchange

GOODWOOD PLACEPOT
——————————–
14:00- There are few more reliable combinations than Richard Hannon and Richard Hughes, particularly in two-year-old events, and we will bank on their representative in the opener, Our Queenie. Down the field on debut when badly in need of the experience, Our Queenie progressed as expected next time, going down narrowly in a Newmarket maiden, and she sets the standard here.
14:35- The first horse we turn to in this competitive seven-furlong handicap is Polar Kite. Consistency is a trait desired for Placepot purposes and Polar Kite has certainly proven to be reliable of late, running to a very similar level, wining or finishing second, on each of his last five starts. He looks sure to give a good account here. Bravo Echo notched up two wins at this venue last summer and he is starting to slip back down to a fair mark. He wasn’t disgraced in an ultra-competitive six-furlong handicap at Ascot last time, but the return to seven should help and he can reach the frame. Finally, we will also include Flexible Flyer. Still unexposed having had just the five starts, Flexible Flyer wasn’t seen to best effect last time, held up in a race where it paid to raced prominently, and the booking of Richard Hughes is obviously a positive.
15:10- Centred looked like a talented filly when staying on strongly to overhaul Heading North at Pontefract and the step up to one and a half miles looks sure to suit. Heading North has since franked the form, finishing second in a listed event, and it would be little surprise were Centred capable of further improvement. She is sure to be carrying plenty of lines, however, so it may be worth including another filly as a bit of insurance. Princess Caetani was largely progressive last term and finished the season on a high with victory at Newbury; she ought to be competitive on her return.
15:45- A disappointing renewal, further robbed of intrigue by the withdrawal of Fantastic Moon, and including both of the remaining runners, Contributer and Disclaimer, looks like the sensible option. If pressed, narrow preference would be for the former as he looks progressive and there is a good chance he simply bumped into a very talented rival at Chester.
16:20- Wentworth will attract most of the attention on his handicap debut, and he certainly looks well treated based on the impression he created as a juvenile, but the drop to six furlongs isn’t sure to suit and it may be worth taking him on, particularly as connections have stated that the Britannia – the one-mile handicap at Royal Ascot – is the main objective. It could be worth including Hannon’s other runner, Annunciation, as he looked like a sprinter on the up prior to a disappointing effort last time. However, it is easy to excuse that below-par display as he was simply ridden too aggressively and should be capable of bouncing back. Prodigality is largely a reliable, progressive sprinter and he comes here on the back of a good effort at York; he too should be involved in the finish.
16:55- Auction was an emphatic winner at Newmarket last week and appears to have plenty in hand under a penalty. There is little reason to suspect he won’t put up an extremely bold show against rivals who, in all probability, lack his class. He is our final-leg banker.
