– Only open to horses who have won or been placed in a Hunter chase or have won or been placed in point-to-point races.
– Lower quality of racing but has a great tradition at the festival.

It’s difficult to remain objective in this one having backed Salsify to win this race not once but twice in both 2012 and 2013. He missed out last year but made a belated return to the track last month and looks like he has a chance again.
Each way selection: Current Event
This one has some solid form from back in his handicapping days and recently has won several point to point races before winning a hunter chase on his last outing. Has clearly been aimed at this race and looks like he has a touch of class and will throw down a challenge.
