Just been reading about a guy who cashed in a lucky 63 today with one horse to run. He cashed in for £36,603. The horse he was waiting for was The Storyteller. The bet would have been worth £500,000 if he had left it.
Classic of example of when to cover instead of cash-in but at the start of the day he’d have taken £36k I’m sure.
Sad to read about the passing of DougieC. He always came across as a real gentleman who enjoyed a good laugh. R.I.P.
