JOHNB has already posted a few Cheltenham antepost bets, some advised as far back as March 17, and he's now added some some.
Cheltenham double 9.5-1 bet365
JLT Novices Chase
YORKHILL 13-8 bet365
Arkle Trophy
MIN 3-1
Both these horses have looked exceptional since going chasing, last year Min was the hype horse and could only manage 2nd in the Supreme Novices Hurdle when beaten by Altior,
I have always said Min looked like he would be a far better chaser and that looks spot on now,
When this horse was hurdling he would run too free which in turn affected his jumping but since going chasing he runs more relaxed now and his jumping is excellent, he respects the fences unlike when he was hurdling, I have already put Min up at 7/1 but I really do like this horse this year and feel he has to be part of my Cheltenham double,
Part two of the double sees another horse that has looked excellent over fences even though he’s had only one run,
I tipped Yorkhill last year in the Neptune Novices Hurdle and he obliged by beating the favourite Yanworth,
I certainly won’t be deserting him after that first chase win, although the opposition wasn’t up to much he still did it impressively,
I just hope owners Andrea & Graham Wylie don’t decide to take on Min in the Arkle.

I have never worried about losing my stake for an antepost bet because of a horse not running,
The reward is far greater than the risk so because of this I have my Risky Double. This is risky because we just don’t know which races these two will be running in, which is why the odds for these two in the selected races are so high it’s definitely worth the risk
Johnb’s Risky Double 62-1 Ladbrokes but singles can be done
Champion Hurdle
ANNIE POWER 6-1 Ladbrokes
Stayers Hurdle
FAUGHEEN 9-1 betway
Because this is risky and we don’t know which races they will be running I am also advising two saver bets
FAUGHEEN to win any festival race 13-8 william hill
ANNIE POWER to win any festival race 13-8 william hill
********************
I very rarely advise a horse eachway but if I think it’s value for people then I will
Johnb’s eachway single
Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle
AUGUSTA KATE 14-1 skybet
********************
Johnb’s Cheltenham Treble 46.25-1 bet365
Mares Novices Hurdle
AIRLIE BEACH 7-2 bet365
JLT Novices Chase
YORKHILL 13-8 bet365
Arkle Trophy
MIN 3-1 bet365
REMEMBER WITH ALL ANTEPOST BETS YOU LOSE YOUR MONEY IF THE HORSE DOESNT RUN UNLESS YOU GET NRNB “Non Runner No Bet” So if you don’t want to risk losing your stake then don’t bet
Mullins Festival again?
The Willie Mullins bandwagon continues this season with so many horses capable of winning
Min, Annie Power, Yorkhill, Faugheen, Douvan, Un De Sceaux, Vroum Vroum Mag, Limini, Bellshill, Djakadam, Killtulagh Vic,
We all know the horses above well but what about the new breed
Airlie Beach, Augusta Kate, Getabird, Asthuria, Riven Light, Francin, Senewalk, Saturnas, Chacun Pour Soi, Montalbano, Bravissimo, Bapaume, Koshari, American Tom
I have only named 25 horses but Willie Mullins has so many more that will run at the festival.
I think that faugheen will go champ and Annie stayers
That’s the Risky part but the odds are worth the risk but if Faugheen does go for the Champion then I think Annie goes for the Mares and Vroum Vroum Mag for the Stayers
Min is on the same hype train as last year, beating a load of rubbish at short odds then when actually challenged didn’t want to know, could say like a flat track bully.
Unfortunately for min he will likely meet his conquerer altior again and the 7 length beating could well happen again.
Nick de boinville is unbeaten on altior and if he is on again that’s another plus.
But at 5-4 altior is no price to be lumping on in a championship race.

Good evening gentlemen
Look forward to the festival already and done a couple of ante posts bets myself
Have took moon racer in the novice hurdle and faugheen the machine in the champion hurdle
Seen an article on racing post about faugheen and Annie power apparently being considered for the champion hurdle which would be a great race as none of ricci riches horses have raced against each other
