Voice of Value's Tips
This is usually a tough race to find the winner in and I certainly wouldn't be confident in backing those at shorter prices. It is usually a real test of stamina and it takes a hardy horse to win.
The one I like at a big price is THE COB from the Ben Pauling yard. He wasn't entered for this race but won really nicely at Doncaster in a Grade 2 last time when stepped to 3 miles and he saw that trip out nicely. They have supplemented him for this race and they're not doing it for the day out and he looks the experienced sturdy sort who could do well in the race. Small stakes, big price is the way to play this race.
Of the others I don't mind Barbados Bucks but his price is too short now and I think he will be one to improve as a chaser next season.

Alan Thomson's Tips
STATTLER possesses a strong end-to-end gallop and has a bit of experience, just what is required for the Albert Bartlett. The fact he is trained by Willie Mullins is a bonus.
Stattler did a lot of the donkey work out in front before being collared by Gaillard Du Mesnil at Leopardstown and has a couple of lengths in hand of fourth-home Fakiera. There shouldn’t be much between them again and they could well fight out the finish along with Torygraph.
Barbados Buck’s, winner of his last three starts, has stamina in abundance and may prove best of the home challengers.
