1.20 Marsh Novices' Chase
Thursday 18 March | Age: 5yo+ | Prize: £150,000
The Marsh Novices’ Chase (registered as the Golden Miller Novices’ Chase) is a Grade 1 National Hunt Chase which takes place on the New Course at Cheltenham with a distance of two miles and four furlongs.
Voice of Value's Tips
This is a very simple one to sum up. ENVOI ALLEN is as close to an absolute stone cold certainty as you can get in the weird and wonderful world of jumps racing.
The horse is unbeaten on the racecourse and has always been seen by his connections as a top class chaser in the making, even when he was a bumper horse and a hurdler.
He jumps well, he travels nicely at a strong pace and most of his credible rivals have been diverted to other races or aren't even coming to the festival.
He will win this if he can jump round safely and I suspect the others won't see which way he goes. Any price better than 2-5 is probably fair in my book so the current 4-6 widely available is no problem at all.
Get him in your multiple bets and hopefully we'll all be cheering by the time Envoi comes up the hill.

Alan Thomson's Tips
ENVOI ALLEN, unbeaten in 11 starts, is trading at cramped odds to complete a hat-trick of Festival successes but is developing into a superstar.
Shan Blue is the each-way/forecast option. Harry Skelton probably went off too hard up front when Shan Blue was reeled in by Sporting John in the Scilly Isles Novices’ Chase at Sandown, but his slick jumping should have most of his rivals on the stretch some way from home.
He looked good when bagging the Kauto Star Novices' Chase over three miles at Kempton’s Christmas fixture, so stamina shouldn’t be an issue.
