I can't remember the last time I posted on the thread. It's been a while, that's for sure.

Most know me for tipping on the flat, particularly in the UK. For some reason this year I just haven't been as interested and have opted to take a backwards step from posting.

I have of course still been watching the big meetings and Epsom was a decent spectacle.

Frankie of course stealing the spotlight as he usually does. Anytime I turned the TV on he was jumping off a horse in front of the cameras.

All that aside, he had a great couple of days and some really nice rides. His ride on Prosperous Voyage which Rizz tipped up was probably the best ride of the meeting. Missed the break, had to go to plan B and flew home over the top.

His ride on Emily Upjohn was also very good. Rizz was probably a bit unlucky with his pick on Westover in that race who has stamina for days and was travelling better than anything into the straight but Hornby took too long to go through the gears but at the same time probably wasn't expecting Frankie to fly around the outside like he did.

I've just the one selection for tomorrow who I think has a decent shout if progressing from her previous run.

Rajindri 9/4 – 3:00 Thirsk

I've done enough rambling on in my intro so I'm going to try keep this write-up short and sweet.

I think this is a cracking little race and all eyes are on the Roger Varian trained Tyndrum Gold who is unbeaten and has to be respected on his reappearance and debut on the turf.

I think its worth taking on the market favourite. He's to carry top weight shouldering a double penalty and has been absent from the track for 180 days.

He'll have to be on his A game I think to give that much weight away and is also unraced on turf.

Given the above circumstances, I opted to look elsewhere and my dart landed on the Tom Clover-trained Rajindri. I think it's fair to say there's a good chance this filly can take a step forward from a nice second at Beverley last month.

She receives weight from all her rivals and already has some experience on the turf which could also prove a vital factor in this.
