Cairnzy is back with a midweek racing pick at Salisbury.
It was nice to jump on at the weekend with another nice 7/2 winner in the shape of Mr McCaan. My write-up was pretty much bang on the money and it was good to keep the winning momentum going on the racing thread here at MFT.
Hats off to Rizz for his 4 fold the other day top drawer tipping.
Just the sole selection from myself tomorrow and it comes from Salisbury.
Glamorous Breeze 7/4 – 2:30 Salisbury
On paper in my opinion, anyway, this looks like a straight match-up between the Archie Watson runner and my selection.
Archie Watsons Amor De Mi Vida is a consistent sort who’s hit the frame in all previous 6 six runs whilst winning 2 of them in the process.
She was nabbed on the line losing by a neck on her previous run at Chepstow and given she’s now 8lb higher than her last winning mark whilst also taking a step up in grade for this particular race I think she’ll struggle to land the spoils.
That left me with the only realistic alternative which was Glamorous Breeze. Another consistent sort who gets this trip of 5f very well and has a pretty nice turn of foot. She’s partnered up with William Cox tomorrow whose 3lb claim will hopefully help her get the upper hand of the Archie Watson runner if it does happen to come down to a duel between the two in the run-in.
It’s worth noting also that Glamorous Breeze is pretty consistent at this class 4 level, not much can be said about the rest of the field when it comes to consistency at this particular level.
