I really can’t see Sprinter Sacre getting beat. There’s no value in backing him at that price though. The forecast may be a shout with Cue Card finishing 2nd in my opinion
Aintree good-soft ground officaly . from watching the racing yesterday most trainers and jockeys were saying they thought the ground was more good than soft.milsley picked his bets in advance with most of his choices having form on soft ground his 3 winners yesterday were all away from aintree on all weather tracks.am sure if milsey was doing a day to day blog his selections would be different with the ground drying out
.
jwood, the tips posted for day two were sent last night so that can’t be an excuse today.
Cue Card is 1/1 to be placed 1st or 2nd in a 6 horse race. I’ll have some of that.
Nicky Henderson (Sprinter Sacre): “It’s got to be one of the races of the season. Everything has gone really well with Sprinter Sacre since Cheltenham and it’s all systems go.
“We were talking to his breeders after Cheltenham and looking back through the dam’s side of his pedigree there is stamina everywhere – they can’t believe he has been running over two miles. You can’t teach him to go that extra half mile – he just does his own thing.
“Aintree and Cheltenham are two different tracks but we’ve got to try something new. At least if we venture out of the two-mile zone we find out something else about him.”
Colin Tizzard (Cue Card): “I’m looking forward to it. I’ve said all along what I think of Sprinter Sacre, and Flemenstar is also a very good horse, but we’ve got rock-solid form over two and a half miles.
“This is our trip so it’s only fair he takes his chance in this race.”
Peter Casey (Flemenstar): “He’s been over there since Tuesday. He travelled over perfectly and went to sleep going over.
“I suppose there’s two of them that will go to the front and we will stay up there either upsides or just behind them and see what happens.
“I don’t really know what will happen but he’s in good form.”
“Cue Card is 1/1 to be placed 1st or 2nd in a 6 horse race. I’ll have some of that.”
Thank you Cue Card and Milesey :)
Sacre Cue card forecast just over 3/1 even better bet if u knew cue card woud come second to sacre!!
Very well done to Harry Challoner on Croco Bay!!!
@Aaron True! But I’m not that knowledgeable in horse racing, the article write up was tipping Cue Card to win, while other punters were saying no chance, so thought a place would be safer as I wouldn’t have lost my bet if Cue Card had won! Cheers
