COUSIN KHEE is a fairly useful hurdler who showed plenty of speed to win two jumpers' bumpers this winter and off mark at second time of asking on Flat in 13f Lingfield maiden in February. Open to further progress.
Sula Two was back to her best when winning three times at up to 13f last term. Also placed twice off this mark in the autumn and much depends on whether she's primed after her winter break.
Dr Livingstone missed all of 2012 but made up for lost time of late, landing brace of jumpers' bumpers in January. Good second in 1½m Wolverhampton handicap earlier this month and should be thereabouts again.
Perfect Delight got off the mark in 1¼m Newbury maiden last June, but found life harder in handicaps since, finishing no better than sixth on her last five starts. Yard in form ahead of return but others still preferred.
Saint Helena has not won since 2011 but went close at Folkestone last September and made a good return to action when third on AW at Kempton at the start of this month. Does have a higher mark on turf though.
Paloma's Prince got off the mark over 1m here on last year's reappearance and once again made a winning start to campaign at Kempton (1½m) earlier this month. Needs to prove he can string good efforts together now.
Jacobs Son has been enjoying a good spell on AW of late, winning three times and good placed efforts on last two starts. Just as good on turf earlier in career so no reason he won't give his running again.
Sondeduro improved to win 1¼m Bath minor event in June and better still when second in 1½m AW handicap next time. Was well below form on recent return, though, and need to see more before lending support.
Refractor has saved his best for AW at Kempton so far, winning three times there, including 1½m handicap in September for James Fanshawe. Below form on recent debut for new yard but does have lower mark on turf.
Attwaal has been progressive for his new yard, winning over 1½m at Lingfield last month and following up with a comfortable enough victory over C&D a fortnight ago. Six pound rise more than fair and sure to go well.
Brown Pete thrived in December, completing a hat-trick in the space of seven days, and creditable placed efforts on turf last two starts. Likely to continue in form but does have stamina to prove here.
Choral Festival is a likeable mare who won over 1¼m at Sandown in June and placed here no less than seven times later in 2012. Shaped well when fifth on 1¼m reappearance here and should be spot on now. Needs considering.
Star Date was a fair performer for Gerard Butler, winning 9f Ripon maiden last May. Struggled in handicaps towards end of 2012 but that does at least mean he's come down in weights ahead of debut for new yard.
Focail Maith led close home to score from reduced mark at Lingfield in December. Runner-up next three starts but just respectable efforts at best when sixth on turf last two starts.
1. Choral Festival
2. Attwaal
3. Dr Livingstone
Verdict: A competitive handicap. Choral Festival has a fine record at this venue and is taken to resume winning ways after catching the eye on her reappearance here a fortnight ago. Recent C&D scorer Attwaal won't go down with a fight on his hat-trick bid, with Dr Livingstone and Cousin Khee a couple of others who should go well.
MILESEY’s BET OF THE DAY
————————
Real Betis v Deportivo La Coruna (Mon 21:00)
La Beticos have surrendered their sixth place position with another loss last weekend to Madrid. Pepe Mel’s team have blown hot and cold in recent weeks to undermine their fourth place challenge as they seventh place and seven points from Sociedad in fourth. However, the hosts have had no problems finding the net. In their last three games, Betis have notched nine goals, with Ruben Castro scoring three of those. Depor just failed to make it five wins in five last weekend but the 12 points from the last possible 15 keeps them two points away from the relegation places in 17th. In a similar vein to their hosts, Depor have been in fine goalscoring form, yielding 14 goals from their last six games and 8 from their last three. If ever there was a time to back a high scoring match, it has to be on Monday night.

Do you write the timeform tips too? – the predictions are the same!
MULE ?
Hahahaha, another newbie having a dig, or someone again setting up fake names, wonder which one ? for a newbie to the site wouldn’t just come on here and start slagging things off.
Milesey
Neither actually! was an honest question…
Mule, I can confirm to Milesey that it’s neither. He’s been asked the question many times and explained he’s Betfair, he is Timeform. So read the tips and enjoy and let me Milesey worry about where they come from.
Thanks for that… sorry if it caused offence…
I’m a regular visitor for the footy tips and thought I’d have a look at the horses today, just noticed they were the same that’s all!
Thanks for the good work anyway guys :)
mule, no problem, Milesey’s the sensitive type.

Sleep In First is a good bet to complete the five-timer. Sleep In First has absolutely thrived since moving to James Ewart’s yard and the style in which he completed his most recent success – a 10-length victory at Hexham – suggests that a penalty will not be enough to prevent him from keeping his winning sequence going. A strong traveller and fluent jumper, Sleep In First should be too good for his rivals today and can hopefully secure the five-timer in style.

Milesey, at least you’ve shown it’s not as easy it seems. Still have to get the selections right I suppose. I was thinking I was missing out on this dutching big time but will stick my original plan and do some dutching in Amsterdam in June.
£500 down on Monday……….Not a good start to the week, but that’s my limit on the horse strategy for today…. i won’t go stupid to make the amount back up, i’ll stick to the plan and see where i am at come the end of the week, don’t write it off MR F, not on oneday….. if it goes tits up over this week, then i’ll scrap it ;)
Milesey
7 ton on twelve roses
You lost your 7 ton then.
Milesey
Milesey, I didn’t touch it, not one I want to get involved at the moment and especially not on horses.
Badluck guys, but I agree with Mr Fixit here. I don’t get why you guys are betting so much, especially on horse racing!
From a trading point of view the horse racing market has alot more movement then any football market, also the LAY market you can back all the other runners to win, while LAYING the odds on favourite. I don’t bet football the way most people do anyway, the only bet i would ever let run would be a LAY on 0-0 scoreline when a goal has gone in.
Milesey
Yeah your betting methods are very different to mine. I’m quite happy with BTTS and over 2.5’s on the football lol.
Gutted!
wow…..
I marked a few in the paper and from what I can see its a mad day for horse results. The big one I missed was Honey of a Kitten @6/1. Anything to do with cats I usually have a look at.
