FORZA MILAN (3.35) is a young staying hurdler worth watching and looks booked to run a big race in the 3m Ladbrokes Handicap Hurdle.

Jonjo O'Neiil's gelding, still only a five-year-old, ran a stormer over this trip at Aintree when narrowly denied by Louis' Vac Pouch. Forza Milan, a brother of One To Arthur, hit the front at the last where a slight error probably sealed his fate.
This competitive contest brings the curtain down on an enthralling opening day at Newbury which sees last season's beaten Champion Hurdle favourite Yanworth take on Cheltenham Festival winner WILLOUGHBY COURT (1.50).
Yanworth over-pitched and crumpled on his second start over fences but had won readily enough on his debut at Exeter.
Willoughby Court made hard work of winning on his first chasing start at Huntingdon, forfeiting ground by jumping right.
This left-handed circuit will suit him better and Huntingdon runner-up Casablanca Mix won easily last week for Nicky Henderson.
OLD GRANGEWOOD (2.25) has been dropped 2lb after a fine third in the Old Roan Chase at Aintree and is worth an each-way punt in the 2m 4f chase.
Dan Skelton's gelding was no match for Smad Place and Cloudy Dream but this is a bit easier. He warmed up over hurdles and his third to Misterton at Chepstow was boosted when that horse made Elgin pull out all the stops at Cheltenham.
Favourite Willie Boy was quite impressive when making most to score over course and distance last time and his rivals won't want to gift Venetia Williams' runner an easy lead.
LOSTINTRANSLATION (12.20) ran into Nicky Henderson's very smart Claimantakinforgan over course and distance just over three weeks ago and Colin Tizzard's young hurdler didn't go down without a fight, having led in the straight until overpowered on the run-in.
Finally, I can't let SWIFT CEDAR (12.10) run unbacked in the opener at Southwell. There was an ominous sign on Tuesday when he drifted markedly before the off and he ran like a horse that may have needed the run.
Fran Berry produced him with what looked a promising challenge out wide in the straight but his effort fizzled out in the final furlong. Hopefully, Swift Cedar will be sharper for that experience and he isn't drawn out wide this time either. I took the 5-1 ew last night.
