REMILUC (1.20) has plenty of solid form on deep ground and will cope with the Cheltenham mud better than some in the 2m handicap hurdle.
Chris Gordon's gelding hunted up Old Guard at Newbury 13 days ago so arrives here in great heart. Remiluc beat subsequent Scottish Champion Hurdle winner Chesterfield and progressive Golden Birthday at Newbury on soft/heavy.
Stablemate Sea Wall handled testing ground when just denied by Clayton at Lingfield and should go well under a lighter weight. He was installed favourite with several firms last night.
It is no exaggeration to say all 11 runners in the 3m handicap hurdle have sporting chances and ANTEROS (3.40) brings good course form to the party.
The gelding had Rocky's Treasure five lengths adrift in third when chasing home Thomas Campbell, hitting the front approaching the last before being run down by Nicky Henderson's improving stayer.
Anteros won a 3m 1f handicap hurdle at the old Paddy Power fixture here in 2016 and should be involved in the finish.
Luccombe Down ran third to Thomas Campbell here at the end of October and represents the in-form Fergal O'Brien/Noel Fehily combination.
The Dutchman scored on heavy ground from No Comment at Wetherby when trained by Sandy Thomson and made a fine start for Colin Tizzard when finding only Sam Spinner much too good at Haydock at the end of November.
Nigel Twiston-Davies has enjoyed plenty of Cheltenham success already this season and hat-trick seeking Arthur's Gift is an improving six-year-old.
Jester Jet gave Robbie Dunne an armchair ride at Plumpton and she is a useful mare at this sort of trip. Most of her form has come on a much sounder surface.
This trip/ground suits Champers On Ice and he is another to consider in an exciting contest.
At Doncaster, where the ground is much better, HUNTSMAN SON (2.45) is capable of defying top weight in the 2m 3f novices' handicap hurdle.
The seven-year-old demolished his field at Market Rasen eight days ago and Alex Hales has booked 5lb claimer James Bowen.
Many Owens landed some tasty bets over course and distance and rates a danger in receipt of more than a stone from my selection. Schnabel won cosily on good ground at Ludlow and may be improving.
Proving yourself to be someone to follow on the horses Alan you certainly know ‘ur stuff, another cracking call on OUR MERLIN on Thursdays thread.

Cheers Sean. I rarely put up Irish horses, except at Cheltenham and Aintree, but often lay a few short-priced jollies around the smaller Irish tracks. Gary O’Brien on the ATR website has tipped up some crackers at big prices lately and I always have a look to see what he fancies. Happy hunting

Both racing threads are given equal prominence.
Alan has been a consistent winner since he came on board so if that’s who you prefer to follow then do so.
Personally if I was betting on horses I’d follow someone in form.
