TIAR NA NOG (6.00) made What A Welcome pull out all the stops over course and distance a fortnight ago and looks primed to go one better in the opening apprentices’ handicap at Windsor.
Denis Coakley’s last two runners have both won (Keeper’s Choice and Yogiyogiyogi) and the merit of Tiar Na Nog’s previous run was advertised when fourth horse Genetics scored at Brighton last week.
Later on the card, Coakley introduces VANITY VANITY (8.30) to handicap company in what looks a pretty ordinary affair. The filly didn’t perform too badly when fourth to Tamreer at Salisbury last month and any money for Vanity Vanity would surely be significant.
At Carlisle, AD LIBITUM (5.00) is on a quick recovery mission after failing by a nose to catch Garden Oasis at Haydock last Thursday evening. That was a painful experience for his backers and although raised 3lb, Ad Libitum is going an extra furlong, which should be to his advantage.

- Windsor 8.30 – Vanity Vanity (13-2, bet365)
