IT was a super Saturday with winners at 7-4, 6-4 and a 12-1 each-way tip also landing.
My Sunday picks have now been added to the ones Johnb's put up last night.
CLONDAW CASTLE (1.10) wins a confident vote in the two-mile novices’ hurdle on an excellent Sunday card at Kelso.
Tom George’s six-year-old has been competing at a very respectable level, running third to Nicky Henderson’s highly promising Countister at Doncaster. Clondaw Castle was only half a length behind De Rasher Counter and that horse came out and won a Fontwell handicap last week carrying 11st 12lb.
Donald McCain saddles principal danger Swashbuckle and he has some other fancied runners on the card, namely CHTI BALKO (1.40), KATACHENKO (2.15) and LOUGH DERG JEWEL (3.15).
Chti Balko battled home six lengths clear of Sleepy Haven on typically testing terrain at Haydock and a 7lb rise may not halt a repeat performance. The gelding also ran a fine race at Newbury when chasing home Poppy Kay and Sea Wall in November.
He has to concede lumps of weight to Dexcite, a promising fourth at Donny on his return from a 526-day absence. Dexcite was stopped in his tracks by a blunder two out and should go close as long as the ground isn’t too testing (best form on good).
Katachenko was beaten a nostril by Play The Ace over 2m 4f at Aintree after forfeiting many lengths at the start.
The nine-year-old has finished first and second on his two previous starts at Kelso and is versatile trip-wise as he ran second to I Just Know last season over 3m 1f at Catterick on heavy. Katachenko produced a good performance that day as he was trying to concede 8lb to last week’s easy North Yorkshire
Grand National winner.
Lough Derg Jewel has twice routed the opposition on deep ground at Ayr, both wins coming over 2m 4f. He steps up to three miles today but has won here over 2m 6f in the past.

Philadelphia Eagles win, they left too many points on the pitch though, the shortened version of our write up said why the Eagles would win and the full write up was spot on
“PHILADELPHIA EAGLES to win 13/10 paddy power
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES over 19.5pts 1/1 Betfred NAP
Expecting a big Philly win here which would surprise a lot of people but not us”
Failed to score 19 points, scored 1 TD and had to make a difficult goal line stop with a minute to go in order to hang on to a narrow 15-10 win, at those prices, this was a poor bet and as you napped the even money shot, I would imagine people most likely lost money…
dominated the second half, early mistakes cost them, their defence was outstanding, their run game dominated and Nick Foles was there when needed, I said it was the shortened version of the write up and still you conveniently missed the majority of that out
You say they hung on whereas Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins said the team was far from hanging on as he said the Falcons final play was easier to read than a children’s book
Nick Foles numbers of 23 of 30 for 246 yards weren’t too bad for a quarterback that 99.9% of people were saying he would be the reason the Eagles lost
There is no reason why people should have lost with an even money loser and a 13/10 WINNER
Not gonna have my posts deleted when making valid points, i didnt say they hung on, 15-10 when the falcs had 1st and goal with minutes to go was a narrow victory, you are acting as if they won by 50, people couldve easily lost moneyyet yo dont see it being possible. 1) people onl followed your nap 2) people invested 0.33 in your nap per pound means no returns. 13/10 winner and even money loser is not profitable long term, particularly if 95% of members are against it
Unless I am seeing things your comment clearly say “hang on” granted I used a “u” and you used an “a” so technically you are right.
£1 at 1/1 lost so -£1
£1 at 13/10 won and returned £2.30
So £2 total stake with £2.30 returned
Also 5pts in American Football is bigger than you think as it means the opposition have to go for a touchdown, a 5pt win for a team that was 2.5pt underdogs is pretty good going, our main write up prediction was a 10pt win so 5pts ain’t bad, all this “could’ve but the result says “didn’t”
As I said, poor bet in my opinion, highlighted by the ROI. I was just pointing out it was more luck than judgement yet he posted as if they won by 50pts.
Johnb said he failed to see how anyone couldve lost money, as I said it was easy to lose money as he napped 1 of them and people may have bet more on that, and the other winner was only 13/10, your success rate needs to be incredibly high for those bets to be worthwhile, 15p profit per £1 bet… it required a goal line stand at the death, he stated the safety knew the last play, you get 4 attempts on 1st and goal, so that point was moot. Moving on
You’ve made your point so let’s leave it.
Don’t do his bets if you don’t like them.
He backed an underdog and they won so it was a decent shout.
Going out with the dug – hoping for goals at Bournemouth in the second half.
You need to tone your comments down and stop making them so personal.
Bottom line is they were decent tips – one winner, one loser – and as Johnb says you’d be in profit if you backed them both.
You clearly have an issue with Johnb regardless of what he tips.
Let’s all stay friends and be CALM.
A win is a win. 15p in the pound profit. 15% isn’t bad really.
johnb u are a fucking deluded person now piss off and stop putting tips up u crook
