CHANCE TO DREAM (7.45) wouldn’t want the ground teeth-rattling fast at Windsor but as long as there is no jar he can serve it up to hot favourite What A Welcome.
Chance To Dream edged out Zorro over course and distance and the third, fifth and sixth horses have since come out and won. And the horse also scored at Windsor over a mile last May (good to soft) and a 4lb rise for his latest victory isn’t severe.
What A Welcome is chasing a five-timer but has been raised 8lb for his Sandown success which makes life tougher. Nazzaa wasn’t disgraced at Nottingham when fourth to Scottish Summit.
JACKPOT ROYALE (8.45) should be worth the wait in the finale. Mick Appleby’s gelding may have met a well-handicapped rival when runner-up to Hombre Casado at Nottingham in May and fourth home Brexitmeansbrexit went on to run a cracker in much better company at York, finishing a close third to market leaders Desert Diamond and Akvavera.
Ed Walker trains Hombre Casado and saddles Grace’s Secret here with a chance on her fifth to Qaswarah at Chepstow. Third horse Maid Up has won since at Donny.
Mankind ran better than his fourth to Simply Breathless would suggest as he was badly hampered when headed a furlong out. He should ensure a solid pace.
In-form Jim Goldie saddles 12 runners at Ayr this evening and he’ll be disappointed not to leave with a winner.
I’m hoping LOTARA (9.00) will bring the curtain down on a successful meeting. She ran well at this fixture last year when fourth to Love Oasis off a significantly higher mark in a Class 5 handicap over six furlongs and now drops into Class 6 company over a further furlong.
The six-year-old hinted her turn was close at hand four days ago at Hamilton when a close-up fourth to Logi over six furlongs, keeping on well at the finish. She finished six lengths behind form horse Rebel State at Musselburgh two runs ago and is now 10lb better off.
That might be enough to turn the tables and Lotara, a winner over 7f at Newcastle in November, could be the better each-way option from a handy draw.
The bookies are taking no chances with ex-Irish top weight Motahassen and last week’s shock Fairyhouse winner Hey Pretty.
A parcel of rogues has assembled for the 1m 7f handicap and BRAES OF LOCHALSH (8.30) isn’t noted for his consistency.
However, he chased home Iain Jardine’s Vercingetorix in this event last year off a 12lb higher rating and again ran one of his best races when second to stablemate Euchen Glen over 1m 5f here 18 days later.
This might be the time of year to catch Braes Of Lochalsh at Ayr, especially with Danny Tudhope on top.
Archibelle is a trier and must be feared for local trainer R Mike Smith, while Elite Icon and Manomine could take a hand if in the right mood. Elite Icon is particularly interesting with trainer Iain Jardine really hitting full stride in the past week or so.
Goldie has runners scattered across the sprints and it is Sod’s Law one will pop up unsupported. They look too difficult races to solve from where I’m sitting.
In the Class 4 handicap over seven furlongs, Richard Fahey must have positive vibes about LUIS VAZ DE TORRES (7.30) supplementing his narrow victory over Mango Chutney at Wetherby (soft) in April. He is only 2lb higher which is very fair, although some ease in the ground would increase confidence.

Tough handicap but this horse is extremely well handicapped on some of its form from last season. Came 2nd over CD last season off a mark of 91, runs of 79 tomoz after being dropped 4lb for running a decent race lto carrying a big weight in a decent York handicap. Also as the added bonus of a 5lb claimer on board.
Ptarmigan Ridge gets ‘gambled’ into favourite then declared a non runner- now results in a 15p deduction even though my horse is available at a bigger price now. How bookies get away with this I’ll never know!!

Well done to all the genuine winners yesterday
BOL
well done yesterday DC
Why are people in racing saying Masar was Sheikh Mohammed’s first Derby winner
In 1995 it may have been his nephews name as owner but everyone knows Lammtarra was Godolphin’s horse
Even in 2008 there was New Approach which was also really a Godolphin horse but ran in his wife’s colours but granted Masar is the first in the Godolphin blue
He’s been saying it for one.
Yeah but he has also said in the past how good it is to be involved with a Derby winner when Lammtarra won and again yesterday he said Masar’s win meant the same as Lammtarra’s win
Lurking in the archives at Darley they also have it confirmed that Lammtarra was infact Godolphin
Darley confirming Lammtarra was running under the Godolphin banner

Away throw shite at the moon Alex ya frickin tool! You know nothing about f’all with that comment
I’ve been on here since the day dawn, same guy same name. I asked JohnB about Masar on Thursday and Friday and put it up Ew on Saturday and took no plaudits so were you getting this crazy accusation from?
Miles off, stick to tipping or say nothing.
It’s another daft comment. People should be more concerned about tips than who said what and who is who.
He also thinks I’m keeping tabs with who says what – I don’t have time to do that.

Cheers Mr F,we all hate trolls or false stuff on here but don’t get obsessed with trying to figure these folk out. Could you remove my response too please? Cant be bothered with it all,bit annoyed with that earlier.

Sick to my stomach yet again, p Cole and rail de Silva in those pale green silks do it again 40/1, he was in my bet slip, it’d have only been a few quid but this hpppens ALLL to frequently. So yeah, look out for that trifecta.
Serena Williams pulls out of the French Open before her match with Sharapova
Shame. Would have been interesting with Sharapova as you tipped probably winning.

Good luck all
Unlucky m8, bentley and candy been on decent run
Luis Vaz de Torres, stayed around 4s drifted to 7s today and before off comes back in to 4s, all suggests to me we may have a bigger priced winner in this race, 3rd fav 13/2 so not a great guess but reading the market is a useful tool. May be wrong as favs that win are often kept around 1 price. I’d hope for Kupa River ew at 10s. Too ltae to be a tip just thoughts,
Well in AT! always best to back a horse on the drift it seems, bookies love confusion and know almost the entirety of gambkers are affected by the odds.
Back to the good stuff. Great shout with Torres Alan.
Got an evening L15 with your tips ?
