BEDROCK (4.20) was unfortunate to bump into a revitalised Addicted To You at Chelmsford City but losses can be recovered in the 2m handicap at Musselburgh.
Iain Jardine’s dual-purpose gelding wasn’t suited by a muddling gallop at Doncaster on the Flat following an excellent effort at Aintree. Bedrock hacked up at Musselburgh over hurdles on his first start for Jardine after switching from Dan Skelton’s yard and he also boasted useful form for William Haggas earlier in his career.
JACOB BLACK (5.30) landed a gamble over course and distance in early May and will welcome a return to the track following two fine efforts in defeat at Hamilton. The form of his fourth to Vive La Difference was given a considerable boost when third horse Rockwood romped home by nine lengths next time out.
SEA YOUMZAIN (2.15) looks ready to go on a victory roll and will be hard to beat at Haydock.
Mark Johnston’s filly, a daughter of Sea The Stars, has been a slow-burner but following three placed efforts she broke her duck at Nottingham last month. That was a fine effort as Sea Youmzain fluffed the start, forfeiting five lengths before making steady headway to lead over a furlong out.
MUTHMIR (3.25) revels on fast ground and the William Haggas-trained sprinter should have conditions to suit in the Listed event.
He was out of his depth behind Battaaash in the Group 2 Temple Strakes over course and distance but wasn’t disgraced in fifth. Muthmir can edge out Judicial, a neck behind Mabs Cross in the Palace House Stakes at Newmarket on his seasonal return.
DUTCH CONNECTION (4.00) is a 7f specialist on quick ground so everything seems set in place for a huge run in the Group3 Betway John Of Gaunt Stakes. The six-year-old travelled strongly in the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury but faded in the final furlong behind Rhododenron.

4.20M- Great Fighter@7/2.WH Wouldn’t normally go against Alan but won this race last year off same mark and as a good 5lb claimer in Jamie Gormley on board. Bit strange given he is Jardines stable apprentice and he as Bedrock in it?
GL everyone
In approx his last 75 rides, Fanning has had only 1 ride (9/10) for Jardine and 0 rides at Mussleborough, still he is a positive booking in my eyes. He also rides alans other pick Jacob Black for Chief Keith.
Gormley will do for me. He’s top of the hot jocks list which is good going for an apprentice and as a good book of rides today for Goldie and Jardine. Cheers
Will try a few ew bets today

Top tipping excellent,?
Brilliant tipping. 4/5 on a lucky 31, will pay for a few beers tonight. Cheers Alan
Absolutely superb Alan, brilliant consistency too.
Unfortunately Dutch connection was a massive let down and that was the one I fanciest most!
JohnB continuing to fire in winners too, best racing site bar none.
Brilliant tips Alan I’m happy after some bookie bashing cleverly doing e/w singles.
I tried an ambitious to win fourfold the first 3 winning
and I was waiting on Dutch Connection it never got going that would have been my biggest win ever.
Still it’s good to be back in the winners enclosure.
Keep up the good work.
Booooooooom amazing tips Alan take a bow
