TWO winners from three for Alan on Thursday and he has five Friday bets from across Lingfield and Newcastle.

Lingfield 1.45

THE all-weather will keep the show on the road over the next couple of days and VENTURA BLUES looks hot to trot at Lingfield. On his first start since leaving Richard Hannon, Ventura Blues ran very well at Wolverhampton in a better class event won by Castle Hill Cassie and the mare has course form, having run Contrive to a short head over this trip back in November. Blinkers replace cheek-pieces.

Newcastle 4.15

Jim Goldie’s LOUD AND CLEAR has won three times at Newcastle, once over this 1m 4f distance, and he will go close if getting a decent pace to attack. The eight-year-old wasn’t suited by a muddling gallop when a running-on third last time.

Lingfield 4.30

C NOTE is the only confirmed front-runner in a trappy 1m 2f handicap and may be able to dictate matters. The gelding led until a furlong out in a warm handicap won by Pactolus over course and distance nine days ago and Ellie Mackenzie takes off 7lb.

Newcastle 5.45

At Newcastle, PLAYFULL SPIRIT has the ideal opportunity to break her maiden tag. John Gosden’s filly is no star but this is a pretty tame affair. She has twice been placed at Gosforth Park and cheek-pieces are applied after a decent third at Lingfield nine days ago.

Newcastle 6.15

BLAME CULTURE lost out to Rey Loopy and Trevithick in a blanket finish here 10 days ago and in receipt of 4lb wins a narrow vote over course winner Glory Of Paris.

Was on Los Camachos too Azz,was just in a wee double with a large(for me) single on Waters Edge at 5/6 which paid nicely.
      👍
On Crockford in 7.00(4/5,medium stake)as it really should be winning and went with a smaller double too after seeing Postman shouting Empire Line in 8.00.
I hate O’Brien having debut horses in against his other that’s odds on but as I say it SHOULD be winning this.

      GL lads n cheers 👍

loud and clear, racing back in class 4 having won off 77 in class 5, finished 3/8 in class 2 company LTO.
in the class 2 race, he was 3 lengths behind 2nd, who went next time off 97 and then was 2nd off 100, both in class 2, this is great form but it was over 4f more than tonight, a distance he won over 3 starts back, he races off the same mark as lto in class 2, but compared to his C&D win, he is up 6lbs. in that race he beat LOPES DANCER, who won for us yesterday, however Lopes’s form line doesnt look overly strong.
Golden Wolf has shown nothing in class 2 company and has been sold since his decent turf efforts off of tonights mark some time ago. finish 6th lto, i will be overlooking him. Native Fighter runs his first race for his new trainer, having been off the track for 177 days. Paddy the Macdaddy takes the reigns and that alone brings him into contention (there for 2 rides), however he races off 82, having placed in class 3 off 78. well capable of popping up but not for me today despite his price shortening.

the fav claire underwood 11/4 is up a few furlongs and 3lbs for win 2 starts back. lost by a long neck to star of southwold who won off 84, claire is racing off 79, gives her a good chance and looked as though this trip would suit. would like to see LOUD AND CLEAR keep going but if i had to bet, the other CLAIRE would be the one. BOL.

empire line is evens in the penultimate at dundalk, he has been dropped 2lbs AND has an additional 5 taken off from respectable claimer b coen… huge field but the 3rd fave is 8/1 and this could be a nice horse for accas…

c note smashed in, adding to crockford and empire line for treble 8.45/1

logic can be as helpful as a chocolate tea pot in racing at times, he is the last in my treble so hopefully it’s still live by then and he comes home nicely finally.

Hibee1 iam going to sandown tomorrow if its on i would be ever thankful if you could put up a few selections for me.
I hope you dont mind me pointing something out- since you arrived on this site you have put up 11 tips you have had 7 winners and 4 losers including a 25/1 and the 78-1 treble that i backed, what i have noticed was 3 of your 4 losers were on the all weather. I actually didnt bet your last aw tip because i noticed you are way better over the jumps— maybe stick to the jump racing hibee?? Hope you dont think im singling you out–your tipping is very good, so if you could give me some pointers for tomorrow it would be great. Cheers.

True Buzzer. Done well today but I’ve left it largely alone bar a few £s here and there on Trixie’s and Yankee’s the last few week. Few decent horses out today that obliged but a lottery indeed mate!
Crockford gets beat in 7.00 there’s something rotten in Denmark/Dundalk. 😉
