XPO UNIVERSEL is a warm order on an interesting Sunday card at Carlisle and should complete his hat-trick now returned to fences by trainer Rebecca Menzies. The gelding has hacked up on his last two starts over hurdles.

SPIDER’S BITE was rather harshly raised 5lb for chasing home King Of Realms at Ascot but the winner is a useful sort. Spider’s Bite is a dual winner at Ludlow, another right-hand track, and may be up to defying top weight.

BIG RIVER is held in high regard by Lucinda Russell and is back over hurdles after falling when last seen over the larger obstacles in a decent event won by Lake View Lad at Carlisle.

It seems whenever I put a tip on here the one I don’t put up wins! Such a paranoid mind I have but today il share my bet at NAVAN 1:00 6 places with sky I fancy a chunky medium size bet on 18/1 PLINTH at EW odds of 3.6 ish a with mark Walsh on today the horse I believe has come 5th with mark on and all other races he either won or raced well the 2m4f is a worry as only had a few runs with a record showing plinth fading away a low mark of 132 which he’s failed to win on twice coming 2nd on good ground with mark and 4th on soft the next so grounds not a worry good to soft would be fine today, I just hope he does the simple thing today gets out near the front and in the worst case situation holds on for a place top 6 well that being the plan! it will be tough to win with plinth but he has raced in a lot better races than this and marks up today so I fingers crossed the horse is up for it if so marks good enough for a place all day and you never know maybe win.

I’m working in London at the moment and got talking to a guy in the pub last night who’s horse racing knowledge sounded spot on at the time and he gave me a tip on a horse which I placed £20 on straight away.
I’ve woke up this morning couldn’t remem the horse so logged onto my account and found it and now when looking at the tip I’m not so sure his knowledge was spot on Haha.
