JEDHI (7.25) can continue Hughie Morrison’s hot streak at Kempton this evening. The stable saddled three winners and a second from four runners on Monday, and Morrison was on the scoreboard again at Epsom yesterday.
Jedhi was denied on the line by Nylon Speed over course and distance last week and she is due to go up 5lb, so is well handicapped.
THE LAST DEBUTANTE (4.40) has been dropped in grade by Mark Johnston and looks capable of landing the 2m handicap at Musselburgh.
The filly ran a fine race here in June over 1m 6f, cutting out much of the running before fading into fourth behind Wor Lass and Great Fighter. The Last Debutante was given a 79-day break before returning nine days ago at Leicester, again running a respectable fifth. This is a weaker contest and I’ll be very disappointed if she is not involved in the finish.
TRAUTMANN (2.40) has won two lowly 1m 4f handicaps over course and distance and may be able to make it a hat-trick in another similar contest. A 2lb rise for edging out Enemy Of The State last time is fair enough.
Ralph Beckett sends RICHENZA (3.40) north for the 7f fillies’ handicap and although there is a slight stamina doubt, she has the beating of Crochet on a line through Rock On Baileys. Richenza beat the very speedy Foxtrot Lady on deep ground at Salisbury in the spring and wouldn’t want the track to be riding too fast.
The concluding Class 6 sprint isn’t easy to unravel but LIFE FOR RENT (5.10) struck at Ripon this time last year and is 5lb lower today.

If that’s the case then I retract my last comment. Apologies. I’m not here to start trouble, just fed up that this forum still has so many nit pickers that don’t even contribute their own selections. I’ll try to comment more often for a bit, and give some selections most days. I subscribe to a couple horse tipsters though, so I have to be careful to not pass on their tips. Although if I really like one of theirs myself too, then I will put it up here. But will only put it up as my own selection, as I can’t be passing on paid for tips obviously.
