IT was raining racing winners on Saturday as the thread teamed up to give the bookies a pounding.
Our man Alan weighed in with three winners and a place while fellow resident tipster Voice of Value landed a cracking 4-1 pick.
Plenty of regulars also got in on the act too with the likes of Uncle Pom, Double Carpet, Alanm and Elvis Parlsey all delivering winning selections so well done everyone who contributed.

Pretty dull stuff tomorrow but one has gotten my attention at Worcester in the last race

Has been off the track for 504 days so has clearly had his issues but travels over from Tipperary for this race which is quite a journey in itself.
He’s well bred and has some decent form in the books prior to his absence.
He won a bumper over 20f with an sp of 50/1. He had the now rated 153 Genie in a bottle 10L behind in 3rd that day. He also ran in the 2016 champion bumper at Cheltenham but trailed in last.
The trainer had a 20/1 winner with his only previous runner at the track and I can’t help think if the horse is over his troubles he should go very close.
Obviously risky but I cant see connections travelling all the way over for a day out.

Can’t believe I’ve just seen, at 11:54 exactly the pony mounts rider poke gunnevera in the eye ?. Absolutely no words, that’s why no one but stable staff should be around their horses. Hope that blokes ok.
Not sure gunnevera would have won ? yoshida looked good. But watch the finishing replay and you can see the awkward head carriage through the race effecting gunnevera’s run style, obviously leaning towards that left eye.
John constable 2-45 Worcester nap 2-1.
Lost by 9l to all set to go on chase debut, but looked ponderous in his 1st chase and if a little less rusty, the 6lb swing and the fact he was a far better hurdler should see him beat that one, if his jumping stands up of course.
Could be significant the owners are persevering over big obstacles with him ?
Flying tiger the fave also boasts good hurdle form including a win at 33-1 in the 2017 Fred winter.
I’m hoping as it’s his chase debut he might be a bit novicey this time.
He ran in good company last year also without threatening to win.
Yo pom. Went with you on your american stuff, sadly I reversed the 25£ double on vassilka and bellafina, kept the treble and doubled the other two… luckily wasnt all bad luck as stuck 75 on the other for a 140 profit so for the eleventieth time cheers.

Just read Saturdays thread. Well done all. Top top stuff. I always find Saturdays difficult. Too much football and horse racing to choose from. So I tend to try several small stake multiples with little to no returns. I really should try more singles rather than multiples. I just struggle to narrow down the selections I’m interested in. Both tipsters I pay for have said Sundays racing is terrible, and double carpet said similar. So I’ll not even bother looking myself.

Yo, any USA race enthusiasts?? After 3 huge 2nds, I did a 4folds on short priced american horses, needless to day I have 3 in and one to run, the 6/4 unbeaten, Baffert/Smith duo DREAM TREE, race 10 Saratoga.
Everything looking to good to be true, the 2nd fav & 3rd favs are 9/4 and 13/3)2, 9/1 the rest. Cash out is £93 or let it ride for £258.. I typically assume the worst but despute that need a good reason to cash out as £93 would be like a slap in the face if the 4th obliges…
Ok well if anyone else was interested in this race.. its 250k purse so she has to be trying at least, hasnt raced over tbis distance since debut a year ago and has had a 7 month lay off… not cashing out..
I’ve had a look mate and he’s dropping back to 6f but goes from the front should have more than enough toe to lead and kick should beat these by at least 4. Couple of closers in the ranks but I can’t imagine that mike smith will hold him up and baffet does best with leading horses.

I dont have it each way I read it opened at 3/1 2nd fav, I caught it at 6/4, I meant I picked 4 out after having so many 2nds here in the UK today 50 on defoe, 90 on degoe and another 2nd, 175 in mazzini, and 60 double on a winner and 2nd, crazy but worth smashing them properly after a great day on Sat, woke up to 630 on my account, went down to 0 today, cashed out a £7 bet, and spun it up to £170 with a few winners, so this horse is the last in a £11 4folds for over 250, which would put me back to near where I was before your US horses last night and make it more bareable.
260 profit from 11.50 on 13/8, 6/4 evs and 4/5… with so many US races i need to start doing more of those bets. Gn will settle for that after sunk in to my old all or nothing mindset on poor days racing.
