Portugal Masters
IN EUROPE it's the Portugal Masters this week, played at the Don Pedro Victoria Golf Course, 7146 yards long and a Par of 71.
The Course was designed by the late great Arnold Palmer in 2004. It will favour players with accuracy of the tee and hitting greens in regulation.
Lucas Bjerregaard is defending champion having won by 4 shots at 20 under and that number might be good enough this week.
Ryder Cup players Thorbjorn Olesen and Sergio Garcia compete this week looking for a run of form going into the Ryder Cup next week.
On top if that six former Major Champions are in the field this week.
Garcia is alongside Ryder Cup vice Captain Padraig Harrington, Danny Willet, Charl Schwartzel, Angel Cabrera and Jose Maria Olazabal also tee up,
Of these six major winner Harrington is showing the best recent form.
Obviously an average field considering the FedEx Cup in the States and next week's Ryder Cup.
