THE TPC Deere Run in Illinois is not the hardest course on the PGA Tour by any manner of means and in fact Jordan Spieth shot 61 two years ago and Paul Goydos hit a 59 in 2010 so expect low scoring this weekend.
With water in play on five of the holes driving accuracy could be a factor and GIR could also be another stat to watch out for.
After winning the Fed-Ex St Jude Classic Daniel Berger missed the cut at the US Open. The following week at the Travellers he hit four rounds in the 60s and finished second and looks like he’s back in the groove. He makes his first appearance here but has all the attributes to get his second win of the season. Driving Accuracy 60.94% (98th) GIR: 67.66% (39th)
Since missing the first three cuts of the season Charley Hoffman has picked himself up and has four top fives to his name. Finishing solo eighth in the US Open was a great achievement and following that up with a T3 at the Travellers it looks like he’s reaching his peak. He is one of those player who is steady and if he gets into a good position on the Saturday he is one to watch out for on the Sunday. Driving Accuracy: 58.87% (129th) GIR: 66.44% (70th).

Both picks look good ace difficult this week when most of big stars ain’t playing cos of the open.
Starting with bubba Watson this week 50/1 been in shocking form but huge price for a major winner
Speaking of horses for courses my next pick is Zach Johnson 28/1
He loves it here. 1 win and 6 times on place money. Will do for me
Last pick is same as last week Charles Howell 111 due to his recent form and has played well here in past 22/1
Plenty of big names at the Scottish – looking forward to going down to Dundonald on Friday.
Going with Noren ew and Cink ew as my outsider.
Having picked anything out in Scottish so I’ll go with yours and aces tips. Good luck
Great start by Fowler whose price will have collapsed now.
Lee, Zach Johnson a good pick. Finished -6 in first round. Such a steady golfer. Bubba on the otherhand….. however he is one under through three.
Ace your right bubba was not a great pick just thought 50/1 was huge. Half way stage and one of us got a fair shout of winning, good luck tonight
