YOU can't gloss over the fact the Johnstone's Paint Trophy is an absolute minefield for punters.
It's a tournament in which it pays to back the underdog – or not even have a bet at all.
But buoyed my 29-1 treble win in the previous round I'm going to have a go at tonight's ties. However, I'm not predicting any results but eyeing up a treble that involves sides scoring goals.
Let's start with one that promises to thrill. Huddersfield and Peterbrough games average out at more than three so this could be packed full of them.
Peterborough lost 1-0 at home to Bristol Rovers at the weekend but should be more relaxed for a tournament that doesn't count for too much until the latter stages.
Try 8-11 with Skybet for over 2.5 while the more ambitious can look at William Hill's 2-1 on over 3.5.
Next I'm looking at Macclesfield v Crewe, two on-form League Two sides. Macclesfield's 10 league matches have totalled 25 goals while Crewe were involved in an incredible 5-5 draw last week. Back both teams to score at 4-6 with bodog.
Finally, to complete the treble take both to score in the Swindon v Torquay clash. League One Swindon are hot favourites but have several players missing so that could play into the hands of League Two Torquay who need a confidence booster after a poor run of late.
Tonight's treble
- Huddersfield v Peterboro (over 2.5 goals)
- Macclesfield v Crewe (both teams to score)
- Swindon v Torquay (both teams to score)
