View our expert's Goals Accumulator Tips & Predictions for Friday which features two both teams to score tips, an over 2.5 goals selection and a side to score 2+ goals.
Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Porto B vs Benfica B – Both Teams to Score
The reserve sides of both Porto and Benfica meet at the Estádio Municipal Jorge in the Portuguese second-tier on Friday afternoon.
Porto secured just their second win in their last 12 matches last time out with a 1-2 win away to Penafiel, whilst the Eagles come into this having lost five of their last seven, losing 1-2 at home to Feirense last time out.
António Oliveira’s visitors have only failed to score four times this season but come into this having kept just one clean in their last 10, therefore, goals look the way to go here.
António Folha’s hosts have scored in 12/16 at home but have only kept six clean sheets all season long and given 10 of the last 11 head-to-heads have seen both sides score, there’s every chance we’ll see both get on the scoresheet here once again.
Annan Athletic vs Edinburgh City – Over 2.5 Goals
Annan host Edinburgh City in the second-leg of their Scottish League One promotion playoff at Galabank looking to reverse a 2-0 deficit.
Peter Murphy’s hosts overcame Forfar 2-1 on aggregate in the previous round, whilst The Citizens defeated League One Dumbarton 5-2 on aggregate.
Only champions Kelty Hearts (68) scored more goals in League Two than Annan (64) this season, with 14 of them coming in their last seven at home and I can’t see them not scoring at least once here.
However, no side in League Two have conceded more goals at home than the Galabankies and given the dynamics of the game, there’s every chance we’ll see at least three strikes in Dumfries & Galloway.
Dundalk vs Bohemians – Both Teams To Score
Two sides separated by just three points in the League of Ireland Premier Division meet at Oriel Park, as fourth-placed Dundalk host sixth-placed Bohemians.
Dundalk threw away a two-goal lead to draw with bottom of the table UCD last time out, whilst Bohs drew 1-1 away at second-placed Derry City.
The Railwaymen have scored in 6/7 of their home matches, scoring 15 goals and should net against a Bohemians side that’s recorded just three clean sheets so far this term.
However, Keith Long’s side have scored in all bar one of their 14 league matches this season and given the hosts are without a clean sheet in their last five, I like the look of goals at both ends.
Benfica to Score 2+
Benfica will look to finish their season with a win, as they travel to the Estádio da Mata Real to take on Paços de Ferreira.
Benfica were defeated 0-1 at home to Porto last time out in a match that sealed the Dragons title success, whilst César Peixoto’s side winless run was extended to four matches following their 2-0 loss away at Santa Clara.
Benfica are the highest-scoring away side in the Primeira Liga this season, scoring 40 in their 16 away fixtures, scoring on multiple occasions in 12 of them.
Paços have lost four and drawn one when hosting the top-six sides in the league, conceding nine times and there’s every chance they’ll concede at least twice against The Eagles.
