THE countdown to the new season continues and I've picked out my Premier League anteposts -and all will be revealed on Friday night.

Watford vs Middlesbrough kicks off the English season on Friday but most of the focus will be on the Premier League, especially with all games in September being shown live.

Sky Sports and BT Sport had already selected 17 games across the first three rounds of matches in the new season. Of the remaining 11, Sky will show six, BT Sport three, and the BBC and Amazon Prime will broadcast one each.

It promises to be a feast of football but who will take the big prize. Man City are odds-on favourites with Liverpool around 2-1 to retain their crown.

Man United are as big as 20-1 but Coral make them odds on at 5-6 to lift the title in the next five seasons.

Man City are the side most likely to go unbeaten in the Premier League this season according to Ladbrokes.

The bookies have priced Pep Guardiola's men at 33-1 for an Invincible campaign despite finishing 18 points behind last year's winners.
Liverpool are 66-1 to not lose a game all season while 200-1 is the price on offer for Chelsea or Man United to do the same. It's only been done once and is a bet I don't like – but someone may fancy it.
Well done to any winners on Wednesday and there are a few games to consider on Thursday.
Swedish fans have four games to look at while in France there is the rearranged Ligue 1 game between Lens and PSG.
You can have 4-5 on the champions with bet365 and BetVictor but PSG are massively weakened with Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Keylor Navas, Angel di Maria and Mauro Icardi all sidelined after recently testing positive.
Lens are 4-1 to win but the best bet could be Lens draw no bet at 27-10 with BetVictor considering the stars PSG are missing.

Super Single

  • Lens draw no bet (8pm)
  • (27-10, BetVictor)

Ladbrokes must be mad. 33/1 for a team that lost 9 games last season. 330/1 maybe. NOT A CHANCE.

Could be an open game with Lens having a go with corners and cards in the mix .

    Good Afternoon Guys,
One game that took my attention today is the Egyptian Premier League
game which kick’s off at 14:30 between Pyramids and Al Masry

Pyramids to win and over 1.5 goals @ 23/20 with Ladbrokes – 5 points staked.

In the 7 matches since season re-start, 3rd placed Pyramids, have only failed to score on
one occasion, against 2nd placed Zamalek, and have netted 2+ in 5 games of remaining
    6 games.
On the other hand, 3rd bottom club Al Masry have not been able to find the net in their
    last 7 away fixtures.
Other bet I was considering was Pyramids to win to nil @ 19/10, also with Ladbrokes,
    may get better prices elsewhere.

Good Luck with all bets today!

Just watched a thing about a club called Third Lanark and the old stadium they played at called Cathlin Park…apparently an Old Firm cup final was played there too. Not a tip or anything for the site but with it being a Scottish site (mainly) I just thought I’d mention it. Always had an interest in learning things about Scottish football…betting or otherwise

    • jim burnside 4 years ago

Yeah good team they were as well…they home ground was actually called CATHKIN PARK.based in Glasgow.

    • Mr Fixit 4 years ago

Third Lanark are well known up here. Defunct I think late 1960s or early 1970s and the park is still there but overgrown.
I’m assumung the programme was about attempts to revive the club.

Struggling to see why lens will get something out of this match. Yes psg are weakened but they still have the likes of draxler, veratti, igaye, herrara, sarabia banut etc so should still be too strong for lens.

    🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
    Brazil 11-15 pm no
    Corinthians v palmeiras
    Btts 5-4 (hills) NAP.

This is as fierce a rivalry as there is, without fans though it diffuses it slightly.

Corinthians have seen btts in 6 of 7 games.
Corinthians scored in 11 of last 13 home league games.

Palmeiras have seen btts in 6 of 7 games.
Palmeiras scored in 11 of their last 13 away league games.

Last 10 head to head seen under 2.5 goals and no team scored 2 goals in these games.

I’m going for this season’s stats and as long as they keep 11 on the pitch for a decent amount of time I see this as a hard fought draw.

    Prediction 1-1
    Possible red card also.
