After making it five winners from the last six columns in Bergen on Monday, Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head back to the EFL, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

Two clubs who are level on three points after the opening three matches in League One this season meet at Field Mill on Tuesday night as Mansfield Town hosts Blackpool in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
It’s proved to be a tough start to the campaign for Nigel Clough’s men, as they were beaten away at Burton Albion and home to newly-promoted Doncaster Rovers in their opening two League One contests of the season, both by a 1-2 scoreline.
However, The Stags managed to get their first points of the season at the weekend, as a late winner from Will Evans earned them a 1-2 victory away at Exeter City.
Like their hosts, Blackpool endured a difficult start to the new campaign, as a 2-3 opening day defeat at home to Stevenage was followed by a 4-1 thrashing away at Exeter City.
However, Steve Bruce’s visitors also got on the board at the weekend, as they claimed a 3-2 victory over previously-unbeaten Huddersfield Town, with The Terriers' two goals helping land Saturday’s Bet of the Day.

Mansfield’s previous 30 League One contests have averaged 3.23 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals paying out in an impressive 24 (80%) of them, including in each of their past 13 (2-1, 2-1, 1-2, 1-2, 2-3, 3-3, 1-5, 0-4, 4-2, 3-0, 1-2, 1-2 & 2-1).
Blackpool’s previous 19 contests in League One have averaged an eye-catching 3.37 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals paying out in 15 (79%) of them, including in all three this campaign (2-3, 1-4 & 3-2).
These two played out a 3-3 draw in their last meeting in February, and I’m expecting the goals to flow in Nottinghamshire on Tuesday evening.
