Wednesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me take another trip to Finnish top tier, and I’ve highlighted one side who I’m keen on for goals.

FC Haka will look to keep the pressure on the sides above them in the Veikkausliiga as they welcome away-day strugglers Inter Turku to the Tehtaan kenttä tomorrow evening in a fixture that I’m keen to back the hosts to score at least twice.
Haka claimed victory of the round last weekend, as they went away to league leaders KuPS and won 0-1. That result leaves Andy Smith’s men still in 6th position, but now only five points off the top spot, playing at least one game fewer than each of the five clubs above them in the Veikkausliiga table.
Haka have been strong at their Valkeakoski base, collecting 13 points from their last five league outings in front of their supporters (W4-D1-L0), only dropping points in a 1-1 draw with champions HJK in that run.
After losing five games on the spin in the Veikkausliiga last month, Vesa Vasara’s men moved away from the foot of the table as they claimed back-to-back victories, with the first of those coming against their upcoming opponents in the reverse fixture.
However, The Sinimustat lost 0-2 at home to Ilves last time out, leaving them in 9th position, some nine points behind Haka, who occupy the final playoff spot. Inter Turku have struggled away from home this campaign – as before their victory in their last away outing against second-from-bottom Lahti – had lost each of their opening five road trips, conceding a total of 15 goals in those defeats.

Andy Smith’s hosts have scored 18 goals across their opening 11 contests in the Finnish top flight this term, with 12 (67%) of them coming on home soil. The Valkeakoski-based club have found the back of the net in each of their opening six league contests in front of their supporters – notching on multiple occasions in four of their last five – and I’m backing them to bag another brace at home against an Inter Turku defence that has registered a solitary clean sheet in the league this season, shipping a minimum of two goals in 5/6 (83%) of their road trips.
