After making it four winners from my last four of the Day columns at Freiburg on Sunday, Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the English Championship, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

Promotion hopefuls Leicester will look to return to winning ways on Tuesday night as they travel to the MKM Stadium to take on the entertaining Hull City in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Sergej Jakirovic’s hosts are the second-highest scorers in the Championship, firing in 17 goals across their opening 10 matches, with nine (53%) coming in front of their supporters.
The Tigers have found the back of the net in each of their previous seven and in eight of their past nine Championship contests – scoring 2+ goals in 6/9 (67%) of them – and will look to trouble a Leicester backline that has kept just three clean sheets this season, with just one of those coming on their travels.
Marti Cifuentes’s visitors have scored 14 goals across their opening 10 matches since their relegation back down to the Championship, with eight (57%) coming on the road.
Only leaders Coventry have prevented The Foxes from scoring in the Championship this season – scoring 2+ goals in 4/10 (40%) of them – and will be confident of breaching a Hull defence that has kept one clean sheet since the opening day of the season, with only bottom club Sheffield Wednesday (22) shipping more than the 18 they have let in.

After a goalless draw away at leaders Coventry City on the opening day of the season, Hull’s next nine Championship contests have averaged an eye-catching 3.89 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals paying out in eight (89%) of them.
Leicester’s opening five road trips since relegation to the Championship this term have averaged 2.80 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals paying out in three (60%) of them (1-2, 1-0, 2-2, 1-1 & 3-1).
The majority of Hull’s matches this season have proven to be entertaining – and given both clubs have rarely failed to find the back of the net – I’m expecting a high-scoring encounter in East Yorkshire on Tuesday night.
