WITH the Europa League a difficult set of fixtures to predict I wasn't going to bother with a both teams to score line but you guys have been demanding one – so here goes.
It seems after the sequence of events on Tuesday night when every English side except West Ham netted that a random line wouldn't be the worst way to go.
You wouldn't sites like this if that was my recommendation but maybe you should do mine and one of your own after not much studying.
I'm starting with Rennes v Atletico Madrid in Group I. Atletico beat Celtic in their opener without too much trouble and since netting his first for the club that night ex-Porto star Falcao has gone goal crazy.
Atletico netted 10 in three games before losing 5-0 at Barcelona. That showed they couldn't defend as well as they attack but then a 5-0 against Barca isn't an embarrassment. Maybe authorities should bring in the rule that exists in kids' football whereby a team gets to put on an extra man if they're being thrashed.
Rennes have scored in their last six, including 6-2 at Sochaux and 3-2 v Caen so back this match at 3-4 with Stan James.
Next look at Athletic Bilbao v PSG. The big-spending French have got going after a poor start and have netted in their last four. Athletic have conceded in their last six and will face a tough test here. Take both to score at 5-6 with Stan James.
My third choice is Rapid Bucharest v PSV mainly because of the Dutch side's attacking prowess. They hit seven v Roda at the weekend and six recently against Excelsior.
They are bound to score and hopefully Rapid, unbeaten at home in the Romanian league, will also hit the target. This one pays 1-1 at William Hill.
Complete a fourfold with Metalist against AZ Alkmaar. Ukrainians Metalist are an improving club who sit third in their table and are also unbeaten at home. They won at Austria Vienna in their opener and knocked four past Sochaux away to qualify.
AZ have rattled in 21 goals in their last six and sit proudly top of the Dutch league. They should score and could even win it if they bring their A game. Back this at 3-4 with Stan James.
