Desmond’s Two 2s Goals Tips: Head North for Goals

PLENTY of action all day today with cup matches in England but I'm sticking to Scottish leagues and 3pm kick-offs.

Dundee Utd take on Partick Thistle at Tannadice and should be beating them to make up some ground on leaders Ross county.

With eight goals scored in their last four home games I'm happy to take Ladbrokes' 4/5 on them scoring 2+ goals against a Thistle side with the worst away record in the Championship, conceding 19 goals in nine away games.

Raith Rovers should bounce back from last week's surprise defeat to East Fife. Raith are averaging two goals at home and should manage that against a Stenhousemuir side who have also conceded 19 goals in nine away games.

Ladbrokes offer a short 2/5 on Raith scoring 2+ goals which will make a 6/4 double. Not great odds but hopefully a winner on a tough card today. Usual 3 points.

Other goals bets I like the look of today are BTTS double of Annan v Elgin and Peterhead v Clyde and an over 2.5 goals treble of Ayr, Arbroath and East Fife.

A roll-up of all seven pays 24-1 – nowhere like the midweek 74-1 winner but it's a restricted card.
