TIS the season to be jolly – unless you're Alan Stubbs and Mark Warburton.

The rival Championship gaffers have been involved in a verbal tug of war that's becoming more boring to watch than Man United. They've talked the talk for weeks – now can they walk the walk?

There's no doubt today's tussle at Ibrox is massive after Hibs battled hard to catch Rangers at the top.

Momentum is on the side of the Easter Road men but there's so much at stake today I can't get away from the feeling it could be a draw – and maybe that will allow peace to break out in time for the new year.

Rangers have won just three of their last six to allow Hibs to draw level and there is a crisis of confidence in the home team but they should be inspired to lift their game by a 52,000 full house.

Warburton's side are favourites at a best 4-5 with William Hill with the draw 29-10 at McBookie and Hibs 7-2 with Ladbrokes.

Hibs will be well backed at that price and you can keep the draw on side by backing them not to lose at 11-10 with Ladbrokes. Hibs draw no bet is 9-4 at Ladbrokes and bet365.

There should be goals with both sides focused on attack but bookies know it and both to score as well as over 2.5 goals are both around 4-6. You could take a chance on over 3.5 goals and that pays 9-5 at McBookie.

Martyn Waghorn missed a crucial penalty in the defeat at Falkirk but is 4-1 first-scorer favourite with McBookie while Hibs top scorer Jason Cummings is 15-2 at boylesports.

After all the build-up it could be fiery and I can't see players holding back in the tackles. There should be card markets up in the morning and McBookie offer 11-4 for a red card in the match.

11/4 for a sending off is decent. The only bookies offering this market are VC, Mcbookie and Skybet although Skybet are only 9/4. Another option is a penalty to be offered at 11/4 with Skybet and VC.
