APOLOGIES for not advising a daily update but punters and supports should appreciate that any bet I do recommend is a bet I would and have placed myself. The essence is when the punters that follow lose I also lose it is down to qualitative betting.
A few matches have possible plays and think Stephen Bunting should get the job down with some comfort against Artut. The German thrower has not been in the best of form and is not seen that often on TV. To see him at the World Cup back in June showed limited form but the European Tour events where he should feature regularly has not performed with much standing in the second half of this season.
Bunting has far more experience and standing on the TV stage and think even if Artut does show up Bunting's scoring will be too good.
I am happy to take Bunting -1.5 sets at 4/6 with Ladbrokes for a 1.5 pts stake.
I do also think for a safe-ish play that Mensur Suljovic who has had the season of his career is good stuff to hit the highest checkout versus Wattimena who will need to take any chances Mensur offers. In addition to double this up with Barneveld -1.5 sets to beat Duijevenbode. Barney was coming in to form in the last couple months before this event and will want to brush his opponent off with speed!
